Best Sims DS Game - hours of play!
I have tried - and sold - many of the Sims games for DS. I just can't seem to get into them after having the computer version of Sims. But Castaway is awesome - I will never sell this game! I love Sims and I love Survivor - and this is both put together. There are countless adventures and tasks to complete - after playing for HOURS I finally gave up my quest to find all the objects/items in the game. I would give this game higher than 5 if I could - well worth the money!

Very Addicting
This game is AWESOME! I play it at work on my breaks, but I was so addicted I had to take it home to play it. I can play it for hours on end. It has lots of new things to explore...some of what can be frustrating because if you don't have certain tools it holds you back from making progress, but it's still an adventure to figure out...I can't get enough of this game. I can't wait for Sims 3 on DS to come out soon. I am a sims finatic.

Sucks. You play buy using lower screen.
Sucks. You have to manipulate the simple with the lower screen. Was hoping it was like the urbz and sims in the city game play on Gameboy sp. Or the game loke this one on psp. Its not. Dont recommend. Unless you like the crappy lower screen game play.

Great Game, but...
This game is awesome, everything I was expecting, but I think the WII version was more challenging and more interactive. In the WII version you can choose your location of your home, choose where you hunt, fish, harvest, etc. In this game, well, it's a game. Like a platform version where every detail of your castaway journey is already mapped out for you and you just follow the bread crumbs to the end. There is only one way of playing and it's kind of repetitive. It's fun although, but I wish my daughter never broke my WII. This is just as good...kind of.

Fun game
This game is lots of fun, but does not have the lasting effect other games offer (my child became bored with it rather quickly). He still plays it, but not as much as other games.

Great condition
I don't like the game play as much as I did on a PSP but it arrived in great condition and I'm enjoying it all the same! Wrapped with care which was the best.

Eh, if you like the computer version.
Delivery was amazing so thank you Amazon and any third parties! However, the game is extremely lackluster if one has played the computer version of this very game and the art is nowhere near as good as well. Sorry, to anyone who prefers the DS version over the Computer version, it's just not my cup of tea.

Fun game, different than other Sims games
I like this game a lot because it is more of a hunt/find items game rather than the traditional Sims game. If you played the Makin' Magic expansion pack on the original Sims, it is more like that - where you explore and find items/ingredients for making other things and are given tasks and puzzles to complete. It is a lot of fun, and I think most ages would enjoy it.
