Sturdy - nicely packaged
Was looking for trekking poles for an arctic trip. Gravel beaches and paths, rocky terrain, mud and ice. Needed a kit that could be adjusted with gloves on and also compact for travel when stowed as well as lightweight. This fit the bill perfectly and the price couldn't be beat. Two pair (for wife and husband travelers) - now just have to figure out some labeling because there is only one color at the best price. After they are scuffed up - will mark them, but while they are shiny and new, can't bear to deface them.

very solid
I have been fishing in the river. One of the problems I have is that the current is always pushing me down. Several days ago, a friend of mine told me about using a pole, and I wanted to give it a try. I got this pole because it has a good price and a fairly good review. After receiving it, I closely examined it. From what I see, this is built-in good quality, and I am pleased. I am going to use it for the next fishing trip. Hopefully, I don't have to worry about the current anymore.

Great sticks and a very good value
I have had a set of aluminum walking sticks but very rarely used them. Since we plan to do a lot of hiking in the mountain states this summer I decided to upgrade to carbon fiber. I expected to pay a lot more but these are very reasonable. We have been hiking here in the flatlands to get into shape and Have have been using these sticks a lot. The light weight helps much more than I expected, when you get to the end of long hike the sticks got heavier...heh. So being light is good. Highly recommended.

Hand straps a bummer
They work after I fixed one of the hand straps. It totally dislodged from the coupling, hang in two strands. I tied the ends with a double knot. Now there is no adjustment on one of the poles so I hyad to adjust the other in the same position. The poles make a lot of noise. You may thing, "well, this ain't a car!" I'm a musician. I hate noise. But, they're decent otherwise. If I'd paid a few more dollars, I might have done better? Probably not. Next time I'll get Leki.

Mehhh
Used for my first camping/hiking trip. They didn’t hold up very well. You need to tighten with a tool of some kind every so often so it wasn’t very convenient. Overall you get what you pay for.

Doesn’t look like real carbon fiber.
Four stars for me. It’s light enough, but I selected carbon fiber, but the product looks more like ABS/PC mixed or some other plastic material. I cut a small piece at the end and place under a microscope, and I don’t see fiber strands like other carbon fiber products I have.

Nice trekking poles
Started to use trekking poles a lot since I went to mountains for mushroom hunting frequently. Tried various brands of poles and this product is just perfect for my needs.Well-made, feel sturdy, easy adjustable and better yet, it comes with a Carry Bag.Strongly recommended.

NOT shock absorbent poles. Just regular poles
Shock absorbent trecking poles are NOT the same as regular poles. They have springs that absorb impact within the pole. These people are fine. But I gave then a 1 star for misleading .I had to buy a new set. The difference is significant.
