Excellent purchase such a great idea and gives peace of mind

The design looks great, and unlike many other baby monitors it comes with a floor stand and can track the babies breathing without anything going on the baby. In reality though, the sensors battery runs out after a few days (uses 4 AA batteries), and the camera itself constantly disconnects from the WiFi so you have to go back to the babies room and reconnect it which takes time. It has some good extras like a night light, and plays smoothing music but it fails to act as a baby monitor, and for the price its ridiculous it doesn't do what I bought what it for.I'm returning it for a basic baby monitor, that will cost a lot lot less, and probably work flawlessly.Despite the advertised promises and potential it has it really doesn't live up to them, and should be avoided if you want something to let you watch your baby when your not in the same room as them.

We have ended up having a traditional cheap baby monitor as CuboAI is too unreliable. Their tech support agents are not very knowledgable and just rely on stock answers with no way to escalate. The AI elements aren’t very intelligent. The idea is absolutely great but connectivity is too broken and app too unreliable and the company is out of its depth technically.

Update:31/01/2024- new camera arrived and worked straight away- I must comment on the customer service as it fell out of the 1 year warranty period. Although the UK has a 6 year rule anyhow… all great stuff!25/01/2024- Cubo have kindly offered to replace the cameraMy Cubo Ai Plus which I started using from the 27th September 2022 has now fried and stopped working on the 24th January 2024. £300 camera set which lasted just short of 16 months!!I now have no camera etc all of a sudden in my little one’s room (would cause distress to most parents) and also she is used to the white noise out the camera which has stopped therefore another routine disturbance.Camera was due an update on the 23/01/2024 and it’s a such coincidence that it updates when the baby leaves the crib and then upon returning to the camera tonight it is dead.

You get the sensor pad and the camera monitor. Granted the price may be off-putting but when you way up the peace of mind a setup like this can offer, I think it’s worth it.The pad is fantastic at putting you at ease. I know, babies should sleep on their back. But start from the start of about 4 months a lot of little ones start to sleep on their stomach. In general, it's fine if they flip over by themselves. Although you will want to flip them back sometimes, you cannot do that all the time. So when they are sleeping on their stomach, this thing gives you peace of mind. You at least are sure that they are still breathing and ok.Connecting both devices is rather easy and set up did not take long at all. There are so many features to explore like the ability to get notifications on their movements via the camera and pad. You can easily access a live feed off the camera when the pad detects unusual movement and act upon it if needed.The microphone on the camera isn’t great and the live feed sometimes barely hears smaller noises. Other than that the camera has a great image quality during the day and a rather decent night vision You do have the ability to zoom in on areas of the room and take full advantage of the rotating and tilting abilities of the camera.The app is rather user-friendly and it doesn’t take an expert to navigate it. It displays all the vital information to you including the battery life of the pad. All in all, for a bundle that gives you peace of mind, I don’t really think you can put a price on it. I highly recommend it.Hope this review helps.

While this has a good camera on it, do NOT buy it.The camera system uses very cheap and weak Wifi hardware to connect to the internet, and will eventually burn out over time, rendering the whole thing useless. If you look at all the complaints about this product, they are almost all WiFi related (or about the app, which is also dreadful).Ours camera burnt out after 3months use, currently going through the process of warranty replacement but this is hardly something a new parent wants to be dealing with. Save yourself the eventual stress and do not buy it
