Great company...Great device.
Please read "DIRTY ELECTRICITY" by Dr. Samuel Milham. Then read "EMF*D" by Dr. Joseph Mercola..... Then after that you ABSOLUTELY MUST READ "Invisible Rainbow" by Aurther Firstenburg....I am an electrician / handy man by day...and a musician by night.....these books changed my life....And are why I now own this meter. It works really well and being able to actually hear the line noise is pretty cool. Their filters work really well also. Two dropped the Circuit the PC is on from 1800mv down to the low 30s (except on boot up, or when the PC is working hard...then it jumps back up to almost 50).We have all been sleeping much better and did also see a huge improvement in the childrens behavior....not that they were bad kids before...they just don't seem to be quite as...."wired", I guess. If you are worried about EMF and other electrical issues....I also HIGHLY RECOMEND changing ALL of your clothing and bedding to 100% Flax Linen or Whool to help shield you. (very high frequency fabrics, just don't mix the two as they cancel out)

YOU NEED THIS METER TO TEST THE FILTERS
The Greenwave Broadband EMI Dirty Electricity Meter is a MUST if you purchase any kind of dirty electricity filter so you know WHERE to place the filters and how many filters you will need. I also recommend the Greenwave Dirty Electricity Filter as the filter of choice. This meter works very well and is your GO-TO guide for installing these filters. Great tool and EASY TO USE!

Easy to use and saved our ears
This monitor is easy to use - simply plug the unit into any outlet and it clearly shows the quality of the electricity. Once you plug in the Greenwave filter (sold separately) it shows the new electricity "cleaned" electrical number. Once you've got the electricity cleaned, it was amazing how quiet electric devices ran. I highly recommend.

Essential Tool To Measure Outlet Noise
This device works as advertised. It is essential to get a quantitative measurement of the amount of noise that is coming out of an outlet on a specific connected circuit. You absolutely need this tool to be able to establish a baseline measurement of the noise that is on the line for a particular outlet and what the change on the line is at the outlet after applying any treatments you try. This tool was particularly useful for quantitatively showing that several so called "Line Conditioners" for hi-end audio equipment, costing hundreds/thousands of dollars, did nothing to reduce the line noise that was coming out of the outlets from the conditioners! If you really want to know how much noise is on your line and how much, if any, treatments you get to reduce that noise actually worked, you absolutely need this tool, or one like it, to be able to measure the before and after noise difference. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Works
No experience for this issue, curiosity got me. Bought it and amazed of my high noise level throughout the house. Mostly 1200-1900 mv found. Tested two power panels from same feed, both same, two family house. Add a switch to shut off speaker would be nice, one star off for that. Two displays, live and guessing estimated changes with second display, also showing a percentage change. Have added a/c line filters, individual plug in models, and get good 500 mv drops with them . My older battery UPS backup units do filter 100%,(0 mx) but my 2 year younger ups units do nothing for filtering ? Shocked at this outcome of ups units for my pc/s. All same brand too.

This works very well... although a bit pricey. Still recommended.
I have been buying noise suppression solutions for decades. I have always wondered how many of them were not really doing anything. Well now I finally found out. I have a couple of Furman Power Conditioners (PST-8). I tested them to see if they did indeed lower the noise floor going into my stereo system. Short answer, no. In fact I found that the noises floor on the circuit they are connected to actually went up. These are basically glorified power strips that cost $100. They are for sale now. Basically worthless snake oil. I also tested my Panamax power conditioner (MR5100). This is a lower model in the Panamx range. The Panamax cut the noise floor by roughly 75%. I was shocked. Actual reading dropped from 1300MV to less than 300MV. Actually an improvement and worth the investment compared to the Furman. I recommend getting this device to really know what is happening and to stop guessing and thinking you hear a sound improvement. I am not endorsing Panamax here, just providing the results.

Very glad I purchased this!
I bought a bunch of Greenwave filters after stumbling upon the dangers of dirty electricity. I originally bought a different meter to measure dirty electricity and magnetic fields. I can use my Greenwave meter to check my work. I discovered my house was acting as a giant antenna. Upon plugging this meter in, I was getting an AM radio station clear as day playing through the speaker on the meter. I simply plugged a filter in, and the noise stopped. I also know I need to order a few more filters as a result of testing each outlet in my house.Edit: I normally am leary of using a company's device to check how well their product works as it seems like it can be very biased. In this case, it worked very well.
