The small is the perfect length to get a nice lift along the root and give the hair a little more fullness. I switch between the small and large. They both run nicely through the hair without pulling the stray hair out. The weight is good and the grip is perfect to spin in your hand. Would definitely recommend. Is there a medium size?

My hairdresser uses this brush and I loved it for the way she blows out my hair. She showed me she got in on Amazon and I bought one and love it . Really holds the hair securely without being scratchy or bristly on the scalp.
