Excellent loaded pickguard with a ton of range, and powerful sound!
I really like this loaded pickguard. I installed it on my Glarry. It required trimming around the neck, and not all of the holes matched up, but enough of them did that I was able to install without needing the drill right away. I lowered the pickups a bit in order to get a little more volume adjustment before the distortion kicked in. This thing sounds fantastic! It's got a big loud sound, and I love using the volume knob in order to overdrive it. The sound range on this thing is fantastic. The pots are dime sized, but the coil splits are amazing. If it came in additional color options, I would buy another for a different guitar. It is a little bit of work to install, but well worth it, and not difficult. Use a dremel, go slow, and the results are fantastic! Brought this cheap guitar to life! Would highly recommend!!

So many sound combinations!
This pickguard set is awesome in my opinion! I get how a few of the other reviews say the sound variation is limited (if you play with the volume at 10 all the time it will be), the reason I think they say this is because the volume has a large impact on the distortion (the higher the volume - the more distortion). If you pull the volume back to about 6-7 it cleans up a bit and if you have it on 5 that's when you can get the huge range of sounds out of this thing. I have played with all the switches and mapped what they do for myself. Then I have played with the tone nobs and seem to be able to get any sounds I want out of this pickguard (almost) without even touching the controls on the amp.The only thing I didn't like about this item so much is how loose the pots are (they turn so easy and sometimes you don't even have to touch them). I might look at replacing them in the future, but for now they are okay.Overall it is a great plug and play setup to really open up the range of any midrange guitar.

Good value, needs trimmed near the neck pocket for Glarry Strat
I installed this recently in my Glarry Strat, the install process did not go well, I am out of practice doing this stuff. The main problem is that you need to trim off about 1/4 inch off the top where the neck pocket is, and I didn't know that. At least that's how it is for a Glarry Strat. Also, the humbucker screws are pretty long, I cut those with bolt cutters to get it all to fit. Now I am not sure if that needed to be done, since I haden't trimmed the neck part of it at that point, but i recall someone else saying that. Another bad thing is the pickup magnets stick up really high making it a challenge to get them low enough. As you may already have noticed, I have considerable amount of time effort and frustration installing this thing. But once I was finally done, it does sound pretty good. I also hadn't even got the guitar setup before installing these so it was up hill all the way. If I had been paying more attention and taking my time I would have done it better and easier.Next I plan to install new 500K volume and tone pots in this so it will sound even BEEFIER! I want my Glarry Strat to sound good for heavy and hard hitting stuff! This is working so far and the bigger volume and tone pots will take it to the next level.PS the little switches are neat too, I don't exactly understand how they work, but they change the sound a bit. The variety is not that great but the 500K thing will probably make quite bit of difference. Sounds pretty good as is too though.

So far, so AWESOME!
Finally finished this build today - looks awesome on a silverburst strat body (GFS) & a Squier Bullet neck (plan to get a better neck when funds available). My soldering skills are not good and I would never attempt assembling all these parts individually - so kits like this are a MUST!!!! This one nicely put together, fits really well and was super easy to install. Have only just started experimenting with the VAST array of sounds available, thanks to those 2 extra little switches but I'm looking forward to a very happy future with this!

Incredible Sounds
The small toggle switches split the humbuckers - one for the neck humbucker and one for the bridge humbucker. Pushed forward acts as a normal humbucker. In the center position, it is a single coil so the configuration is like a regular Strat. And in the back position, it is a single coil that remains active no matter what the position of the 5-way switch. Huge possibilities for different sounds.

Looks great, sounds OKAY
Pickups are easy to install and the pick guard looks great. There are a lot of tone options between the 5 way pickup selector switch and the two switches to change bridge and neck pickups to single coil vs double coil. Unfortunately, the sound isn’t great in many settings (lots of noise). These pickups have a strong high end making them sound like a sparkley strat but the buzz noise ruins it mostly. I’ve made sure to line the cavities with copper tape and changed the output jack to a “noise free” design. These mods have had little impact. Also the pickups have large screws that make it difficult to get low action on the guitar without strings getting magnetically struck to pickups.

Pretty Awesome
Gorgeous pick gaurd, pickups sound okay and everything works like it should. Holes didn't line up but that's not a big deal for me because I was going to fill and redrill anyway due to stripped out screw holes.
