I ordered these topiaries so I could save money by making my own topiary tree since they are so expensive. I placed my order on April 30 and it was delivered on June 1. It was the first Amazon order I ever had to sign for. I paid over $80 for two sets of topiaries. Each set was a pair which came and halves.Mistake No. 1 - The topiaries arrived in plastic Amazon bags. The temperature here in Virginia is over 90° and the topiaries are made of plastic. When I took them out of the bags they were misshapen from the extreme heat which I’m sure was well over 100 degrees in the back of the delivery truck. If I had 4 - 17”big round balls I would have put it inside them before they cooled off to get the round shape back but I don’t know many people who would have 4 balls on hand.Mistake No. 2 - The topiaries also had leaves that had fallen off in the bag from being tossed around on the long trip from China.Mistake No. 3 - The amount of greenery on them was very disappointing as I was able to clearly see through them which screams cheap and fake.Mistake No. 4 - Another huge problem was there are no directions telling you how to put the 2 halves together – that is if you’re even ever able to get them back in a round shape again. One of the halves had something that looks like a grommet attached to a green ribbon. I’m not sure if that’s what they’re thinking you should use to put them together or not but even if it is it certainly isn’t enough ribbon to do them all. And I did try do use it on one of them and it was a total failure. There is no way you can attach the two parts together.So, moving forward I guess I’m going to have to go and purchase four large Styrofoam balls to help put the topiaries and stick them out in the sun to get the round shape back, then I will buy some green paint and paint the balls green so you can’t see through them due to the lack of foliage, and lastly go buy some kind of green string to weave around the 2 halves and tie them together. By the time I finish buying and doing all of this I will have been better off just purchasing a topiary tree that was already assembled.Mistake No. 5 - Don’t be the first person to buy something from an Amazon seller. I am a big review reader before I make the decision to buy. This product did not have any reviews. I hope my mistake will help others from making the same mistake.

The two sides of each ball is supposed to snap together. It is very difficult to get it to snap. And the struggle to get the pieces to go together some of the foliage comes off. I finally gave up and just cable tied both sides to each other and then trimmed the cable so you can’t see it

I recently received five orders of these topiary balls to be used in outdoor window planters. The order arrived within the delivery window, but I was sad to see that they were all packaged in plastic bags. I expected them to be nested and possibly slightly squished to save on shipping, but I think the seller needs to package these in boxes to avoid the amount of damage the product receives in transit. That being said, I think the topiary balls are a nice quality product and will nicely fulfill my needs. They are full enough and the color is nice and I’m looking forward to seeing how well they hold up outside.

You get what you pay for! These showed up in a flat sad I’m looking package they were so distorted I was not able to make them into any kind of shape whatever. They went straight into the garbage
