Worked shockingly well!
We have a kitchen table that we love, but it is constantly marred with big white blotches and rings from hot AND cold items (unless you put something thick like a magazine under your plate - pretty ridiculous). I don't know what kind of finish it has (poly or ?), but I was at the point of actually having to strip the table and re-stain and re-poly - not a job I was looking forward to. A friend said the table may have been waxed at some point and the white marks were possibly moisture trapped in the wax? "Here" he said, "Try this - I use it on my table after dinner parties" and he handed me an old used beat-up Homax package (He said he has been using the same cloth for over a year and it still works.) It contained a slightly-oily cloth that reminded me of my Mom's old dusting cloths.I was pretty skeptical - how could this kind-of-oily cloth repair all the damage to my table? But shockingly, it did! Even the giant white area where my husband left a big steaming hot plate and the finish actually looked melted. You just gently rub this cloth in the direction of the wood grain and the white spots gradually disappear. I think perhaps it is impregnated with some kind of liquid wax? I'm not sure, but it does seem to marvelously melt away white rings and and splotches as well as some finish damage with very little effort. ALL the white rings are completely gone. So I immediately bought a new one for myself.Though this product doesn't actually repair your table and it won't fix gouges and big scratches, it really made the damage almost invisible. White splotches and rings? All gone. The spot where the finish kind of melted from hubby's hot plate? Its still there and you can still feel it, but now you can hardly see it. It's barely noticeable now.So it's not a complete "cure" for your table, but it does remove white rings very well and does an excellent job of camouflaging many other imperfections. However, if gouges and deep scratches are your problem, this is probably not the right product for that. (I've had good luck with Old English Scratch Cover for gouges - again, not a repair, but a good camouflage. )

This product doesn't not doe what is supposed to do.
I should have read the reviews before I bought this cloth. It doesn't get rid of heat stains on wood. all it does is it gives a stain a shine. A total waste of my money.

Still, after all these years, the best ring remover or furniture fixer-up magical stuff.
A friend stays with me for a few days and put his wet boot onto one of my dining room chairs leaving a water mark footprint behind. My brain said "Remember that White Ring Remover mom used to have?" Yeah, forty years ago, but I looked it up and there is was.So easy to use. Such a good result. Just buy some to have in the house, someone may have a wet boot.

Nice Transformation
I'm pretty pleased with this product. A table I Inherited from my mother had decades worth of white staining and I had no clue how to fix it.It kind of soften scratches, but really doesn't remove but the lightest scratch. Pictures speak for themselves. It was from a patchy topped mess to only slightly weathered. The bad spots are still faint but there. I'll let them sit and try again with some more elbow grease later. I do feel that the cloth ran out of its oomf the further I got. By the end it was taking more work to see less fading of the stains.

It Works If You Pair It With Murphy’s Oil Soap!
I think reviews for products are better if you can show pictures of before and after, and unfortunately I lost faith in this product after only using it for 30 minutes so my pictures are not from the very beginning. The pros is that the remover cloth really does work but you have to be patient and it takes a lot of work by rubbing the area for hours. The white heat marks I had on my table was from 3-4 years ago and the cloth didn’t do anything when I originally started using it. After about 3 hours I noticed the stain getting lighter. The problem with the product is that the instructions say to rub gently until the stain disappears which was not true. You have to apply pressure with your fingertips and rub in different directions. Also, I suggest pouring Murphy’s Oil Soap to the heat stain or water ring and rub it in with your fingertips like you’re finger painting. Let it sit for about 15-20 and then go back and swirl it even more into the grain of wood. After about 30-40 min, wipe it off with a towel completely and then use the remover cloth to rub the stain out. Eventually, the stain will get lighter and lighter. Continue these steps until you’re satisfied. I worked on this for about 6 hours off and on and I can’t believe the stain is almost gone! I need another day to finish the rest.

Didn't work for me.
I tried this on some white rings and it did nothing. And I rub it for a couple of minutes. Maybe the marks were too old. But this was no better than a cloth with furniture polish.

Does not do anything.
This did literally nothing to the mild white rings on my nightstand. It is also not a returnable product, so buyer beware! Photo is post-usage.
