Color:Ti Chip Does the charger receiver work with my phone that is of a metal back cover?Yes, the device works well with the phone that is of a metal back cover, but please put the charger receiver on the back of the metal cover, do not install it inside your phone, if not it will stop the phone to receive signal. There might be a minor electromagnetic interference to apply the wireless charging receiver with the metal cover together, the best and simple solution is to put a paper that is 0.007-0.01inches between the metal cover and the wireless charger receiver. The paper separates the metal cover and the wireless charger reciever to eliminate operating frequency. What should I pay attention to?1. With 5V/1A higher output, it gives the fastest wireless charge that you can get on the market, but not as fast as QC2.0 or QC3.0 [Normally it takes around 5 hours for full charged]. But some of our customers said the wireless charger receiver worked slow. Since they used a normal wall charger that is lower than 5V 2000mAh output. We suggest to use a wall charger that is of 5V/2A output or a QC3.0 Charger, and pls be sure your wireless charger supports fast charge. 2.The ribbon is a little bit weak. Pls DO NOT FOLD the ribbon, and do not install an uninstall FREQUENTLY. 3. Pls hold the housing of the connector of the wireless charger to pull the USB connector out from your phone when unplugging, if not, the connector would be damaged. 4. If you need fast charge, pls don't play your phone during charging. These USB Type C smart phones that don't have wireless charge built-in work perfect with the charger receiver:Xiaomi Mi5/Mi5 Pro, LG G5/V20/Nexus 5X, HTC M10/10, OnePlus 3, Nokia N1, ZUK Z1, Huawei P9/Mate 9/Nexus 6P, Google Pixel XL 5.5" ONLY, NOT 5.0" and more.

This is a good quality wireless charger
This is a good quality wireless charger. It charges my Pixel XL @ approximately 5% every 15min with the phone on but not being used. Its just as thin as all the others but has a large high quality coil. Though the output is still just 1A i feel like this charger can sustain 1A though a thicker case or at odd positions. With both of my chargers i do not need to be very specific when setting my phone on them. It picks it up and starts charging quick with no hassle or adjustment every time. I also feel like this large coil helps keep it cooler @1A. My phone was not even warm to the touch after an hour of charging. To keep it generic the ribbon cable come out of the plug @ 90 degrees. This may cause issues (the same with every other charger out there) and interfere with your case. Just to be safe and so my case did not put pressure on this cable i used a dremel to remove a tiny bit of material from the inside of my case. It was also slightly long for my Pixel XL and interfered with my fingerprint sensor. I simply sliced off the top few millimeters of the plastic coil housing. Overall this is a good product and i would highly recommend it.Pros:Long Range ChargingThinLarge Cool CoilGood QualityCons:Ribbon may interfereSlightly long for my Pixel XL

Works as advertised, at the expense of losing your USB port
Pros: It does what it's supposed to do: wirelessly charges the phone at an acceptable rate, exactly as advertised. The adhesive strip that's supposed to hold it on the back of the phone is pretty weaksauce, so you'll probably have to tape it down, or have it under a case to hold it in place. It's very thin, so it doesn't interfere with the fit of any case, but the case needs to be quite thin in order for charging to work through it.Cons: Once you're using it, you're basically stuck with it. Want to plug it into an AC adapter, car charger, or computer USB (or, in the case of the Pixel 2 XL, plug in the USB-C to headphone adaptor)? Too bad. This thing monopolizes your one and only USB-C port. You *could* stick the coil on the back far enough down to allow enough slack on the flex cable to pull the plug out, but it would end up trashed very quickly. The flex cable is very delicate, and the repetitive stress of pulling the plug out, even if you were very careful, would end up breaking it off. Also, leaving that kind of slack would mean a loop of tiny cable sticking out, which would get yanked and torn the first time you pulled the phone from your pocket or purse. This is even more pronounced with a case affixed. And if you fold/kink the flex cable to make it flush while plugged in, same thing: it'll have the lifespan of a firefly before it fails/tears.Ideally, this device would come with some kind of pass-through plug, or perhaps a magnetic connector like those cables with the magnetic USB/lightning tips, so the USB port could still be utilized normally.

Had high hopes for my Pixel 2 XL to be ...
Had high hopes for my Pixel 2 XL to be able to charge wirelessly. This was not the answer for me. Using this receiver, I tried 2 different Samsung QI fast chargers that I own. Neither added more than one percent to charge after one hour.

works well until it doesn't
This worked even through my case but stopped working after about 30 cycles of unplugging/replugging (which you have to do to use your usb jack).

Nothing to review.
There is really nothing to review. The item was cheaply made and didn't work.
