What’s the difference between alloy steel and carbon steel?

No idea why it shows this to customers. It is on Amazon's end. What I did find out for you after research is the Alloy Steel vs Carbon Steel is actually related to the shafts. The shafts for Alloy Steel are KBS Tour Lite Shafts and the Carbon Steel are the true stock shafts which are the Dynamic Gold 95/105 VSS Steel Shafts. This is the only difference between the two options. At one point TaylorMade was struggling to get enough of the stock steel shafts for these irons due to supply issues and switched to the KBS Tour Lite Shafts for a period of time. They are about the same in terms of performance just from two different shaft manufacturers.
