BEST Dog paper I ever used.
My senior chihuahua (17 yrs old) can't always make it outside in time. So to avoid puddles of pee I place puppy pads in the foyer near the door. Older dogs have VERY PUNGENT urine and with regular puppy pads you can smell it. With these, you don't. It's been a game changer for us. They works as advertised. Each pad is thick with an adhesive you can use to 'tape down' the pad. Easy to clean up. Hands down now the only pad we use. While more expensive than regular pads...to me they are definitely worth every penny. I can't stand the smell of pee.

Best Pee Pads for Dogs
Best dog pee pads, and the only ones I will buy. Highly absorbent, large size for big area for dogs to utilize. Pee stays within pee pad very well and come with adhesive tape to apply on floor if needed although we utilize without using the sticky adhesives and have no issues. My chihuahua seems to like them also!

40 count 30 x 26 seems like a good pad.
The request by the seller "from the future" for a good review is hilarious. Good on you! Its a decent pad, thicker than most with a decent amount of carbon and gel for odor and wetness control. Absorbency is nearly instantaneous and urine odor is very slight. We have a seven lb Malty who drinks 4 to 5 oz of water / day. Plucking up her solid waste allows these pads a two day lifetime. That comes out to 25 cents a day.

These are great
Used them with our now adult dog when he was a pup and we are using again for our new puppy. The size is perfect to hold multiple bathroom goings and we love the sticky bottom corners. Helps keep it in place! The charcoal does help absorb some odor which we appreciate and makes these better than regular puppy. pads.

about average among the one's I've tried, but more expensive.
My dog is getting older and can't seem to hold it through the night, (I'm losing sleep getting up at 4:30 every morning). Nice try with these pads, they absorb well, but he scratches the pad to try to cover it. I thought the bottom layer looked stronger than others, but it rips easily instead of stretching. The biggest problem I have with the pads is that the layer above the absorbent media. It doesn't seem to be attached, then the material gets tracked all over. I tape them to the floor so that they don't get wadded up and/or leaked under.

Best pads I ever used
These pads are expensive but each pad last easily over a week if you're using them for a small breed dog. Before getting these I'd burn through packs of store bought pads but my little shih Tzo would wee wee on them and it would soak right through leaving me to constantly mop up a mess. These pads for me are a game changer...they have fantastic absorbency...you don't get the smell of urine and they don't look wet as roughly 90% of it dries on the pad. When I got these the very first thing that I did was take one out lay it on the floor and pour an entire glass of water on it. Well to my surprise it absorbed the entire glass and when I picked up the pad there wasn't a single wet spot underneath it. Right there I was sold and will only use these pads. Thanks

Fantastic!
I own a small dog who weighs under 8lbs. As a temporary solution She is being potty trained on the pads. At first, I grab any old box at the store and be done. Trouble was they leaked, ripped and were too small even with a larger size. I decided to look on Amazon to see if I could find better ones. Eventually, I stumbled across these. Read the reviews, rolled the dice and brought them. And I am so glad I did. Best pads so far.Even though my little girl is small, I put down four pads to form a larger square. This way she has plenty of room to do her business and is not squatting on the same pad over and over. Are they absorbent? Yes, yes, they are. I sometimes will catch her doing her business. As soon as she is done, the liquid just soaks up in seconds. Making it a little hard to tell if she did go on the pad. But you can see the wet spot in bright light. Not once have I noticed any leaking. Nor have I seen any tearing. If you have a medium to large size dog, I cannot say if these pads would be right for you. I will say they are perfect for my little girl. There is no pad out there that is perfect. All pads have their hiccups -some more than others. So, if people here are nit-picking, it’s probably because they love to nit-pick and/or are believing that a pad should be perfect. If I had to choose between these and some other cheaper pads, I’d choose these.

Leak through to floor immediately. Do not work at all.
Please do not purchase these. They simply do not work. My 10 lb Italian Greyhound peed on them and it seeped right through to the floor immediately. At first I thought I had put the pad down incorrectly. I took a fresh one and poured a bit of water (1/4 a cup) on the underside. It beaded up and rolled off the paper. Then I put it right side up and poured a bit of water (1/4 a cup)- that water soaked the pad and immediately went through to our counter top. The bottom of the pad was wet to the touch with water slowly dripping down. This product claims to be able to absorb up to a liter with no leaks. It could not even stand 1/4 a cup of water. I have no idea how this got so many stars. In fact the stars are what made me decide to purchase this product. These pads are not what they pretend to be. Please save yourself the time and move on to another product.
