Very Happy
Normally, cotton flour sack towels take many, many washings to become absorbent. These were thrown in the wash immediately before using and were pretty absorbent from the get-go. They held their shape well and the material isn't what I'd call wrinkled but adopted an interesting texture. They didn't shrink a ton or become mis-shaped. All in all, I am very happy with them and would order them again!

I love these
I’ve had these now for 3 years and can’t imagine how I lived without them before. They save paper towel usage and I use them for everything from drying hands in the kitchen to holding just-washed produce while I prep food. They wash and dry beautifully. Every home cook needs a set of these!

Great household staple
I use these instead of paper towels and napkins. They are a great multipurpose size and I never have a shortage on hand. Very absorbent. These have been machine washed and dried great for years without issue. I was so satisfied that I bought two different colors and enjoy them all wholeheartedly.

Bought for the baby's butt, kept for every other use
bought to try for cloth diapers, at the raving of many in a social media group about how much they love using flour sack towels. They seemed fine for that, but I much prefer a birdseye flat for texture and comfort against my baby's skin. These towels have still been amazing for having a baby around though, and I can't argue with the value! I keep a stack of a few of them in "the baby basket" in most rooms of my house, plus the remainder in the cleaning closet.Spit-up emergency? Grab a towelWanna give that baby butt some air? Set him down for tummy time on a towel (because that will be the moment he pees)Forgot to grab napkins before bringing your dinner out of the kitchen? This towel is now a giant napkinKitchen gets a refresh of these daily for drying hands, drying dishes, or mopping up minor spills, then wiping down from a quick sanitization at the end of the day. With a baby (especially one in part-time cloth diapers), there's lots of laundry going through, but there are still enough in this pack for all our cleaning and drying needs every day and only getting washed once a week or so. They are holding up well to this abuse so far!

Be careful how you take the ratings
I almost didn’t buy these towels because of some of the ratings that I later found to be not true1. One person showed some kind of tag to say they were not 100% cotton. Not true. They are2. A lot of complaints about absorbency. So I wash my hands and dried them with the towel. They dried. I wet the counter and dried it with the towel. It dried. What more do you want?3. Complaints about wrinkles. Hello! They are a flour sack towel, not a silk blouse. Washed, dried and folded them, smoothing as I went. They are neat and serve the purpose4. They are thin, or so they say. For my intended use in my canning/straining process I don’t need luxuriously plush towels. They seem about right. However since this is my first time using them, I’m no expert on what to expect in the thickness departmentIn my final assessment, I like the towels and can’t justify some of the negative comments I see here. Makes me think they are competitors intent on swaying your decisions to buy in their directionI’ll adjust my review if needed as time and usage progresses. But my caution is to take the reviews with a grain of salt when making your decision. One more thing I forgot. I see a lot of complaints about lint. As you can see, my first wash was minimal lint. They were tossed in with a white sheet to complete the load. Not sure why so many comments about excessive lint

Great Towel- Not Square
I have been using these towels for a few years and they wash well and are holding up. I bought them to make bandanas and wanted a large square. They are off about an inch, so not able to fold into a perfect triangle. Since they seemed like good towels, I repurposed them to the kitchen. They are holding up well to food prep use. They are soft, sturdy, absorbent and large enough for big jobs. I do not use Clorox bleach, only Oxyclean, so I cannot vouch for how well the fabric will last using bleach.

These are fantastic I use them for my daughter’s baby shower as napkins… Classy
You Caesars napkins… To get out the grease add a quarter cup of dawn dish soap to your laundry and the grease comes right out

Good towels for what they are - but price doubled in 1 year
These are great for when you need a large thin flour-sack type cotton white towel. I have bought them every year for a few years. But in the past year 12/21 - 12/22, the price has nearly doubled, so I'm not buying any this year.

Amazing for cloth diapering
I bought these for my daughters cloth diapers because she was peeing through all the other heavy duty options I was trying. They have been our saving grace to prevent leaks. In comparison to Walmart's they keep their shape perfectly and aren't as thick. I bought a pack or two from Walmart and I hate using those ones. Looking to switch to these for other household uses. Completely trust the Utopia brand for quality towels for multiple uses around my house.

Great for cloth diapering and kitchen use
My wife and I purchased a few sets of these for use in the kitchen as a replacement for paper towels, and to use as inserts for cloth diapering. The kitchen application is great. It's great for mopping up spills and the like. My only complaint is these, being 28"x28", depending on what I'm using it for, seems like they're too big for the job. Most paper towels feature perforations to rip off a half-sheet for minimal use. Sometimes I only need a little bit to mop up, and feel like using a 28x28 sheet is overkill. The cloth diapering side is great. They're absorbent once prepped well, and do the trick.

lovely towels for their intended purpose
Whether or not you love these towels will depend on your expectations and what you use them for. I love them as a general purpose light towel. They are large and perfect for covering my bread while it rises.I just used one of these towels to line my tofu mold and it worked perfectly. In the questions there are differing opinions as to whether these could be used to strain things instead of cheesecloth. Tofu is essentially cheese made out of soy milk and this towel drained as quickly as the cloth that came with the tofu mold so I think it will work well for straining jelly or cheese. I intend to try it next with making paneer (fresh Indian cheese). I have a nylon nut milk bag for making soy milk and nut milk. Inspecting that bag and this towel, I think that the towel would let through a lot more solids because the weave is flexible and not as tight. This cloth may have been the traditional item for making nut milk before the invention of tightly woven synthetic fabric. If you are seeking tea towels for drying dishes, these are like what my mom used in the 60s, but they will not soak up as much water as the thick, ribbed, synthetic tea towels made today. However, these are wonderful, large, low cost, general purpose towels for many uses around the house, polishing, drying, wiping up, wrapping things, lining a strainer, etc.I didn't measure them, but I haven't noticed shrinkage. Being pure cotton, they can be quite wrinkled if they are not folded while still fresh out of the dryer. In terms of weight, these are slightly lighter weight and looser weave than the rice sacks that we used to get in the 60s but because of that these are softer to the touch and quicker to absorb water. These are exactly what I was looking for, and I will buy more when I need them. I think these will last a long time for my uses.

Was expecting better quality. You can see through each of them
Was expecting better quality. You can see through each of them. They leave fiber residue on my dishes, so for me they are pretty useless. Will never buy them again.
