Got this for our coffee table but these stick out too much. And are EXTREMELY painful if your foot happens to scrape by them. I would NOT recommend for such use.

Installed on a coffee table that sits on an area rug and that is on top of wall to wall carpet, the table is very large heave solid wood, these slide with EASE! I can't tell you if it was easy to install as my husband did that part and for it's purpose we don't lock the wheels but I do like the look of them.

I own a home built in 1860 with wide plank wood floors. I wanted something to make it easy to move furniture so I could clean the floors without scratching the wood or killing myself. I put these under my wood box, dressers, storage units, etc., and could not be happier. These are easy to install with a simple power drill, and lock easily in place. They also look much nicer than expected.

Looove these!! I refurbished a cabinet I found second hand and these added just the right touch! They glide sooooooo smoothly! I bought a second set for a coffee table because I loved them so much!

These are sturdy and fairly easy to install (although the instructions aren't clear if you are not familiar with this type of installation project). However, the locks are these are very difficult to move from the locked to the unlocked position.
