I purchased it due to it's large screen and good reviews. However, the instruction book was written in extremely poor English, and contained inaccurate instructions for updating the maps. I contacted the manufacturer twice, and the first time they gave me a link to the map updates. We downloaded the updates and still couldn't load them on the device. I e-mailed the manufacturer again and got this answer: "The new map is still in negotiation, please be patient and wait for some time, and then ask about the details of the map update." Since we're going to the UK very soon, I could not wait for them to get their maps out of negotiation. There ARE UK maps preloaded - you just can't update them. The maps don't include Ireland.

The GPS works extremely well. I would have given it 5 stars if the documentation were better. I have used it here in Colorado for two days and am very impressed with the features. It picked up 11 of 13 available satellites. The GPS even knows the speed limits for the section of road you are traveling and will warn you if you are speeding (this can be turned off). I strongly encourage any new customers to learn to use this device before you leave on your trip. It does take time to figure out all the features and how to use it properly. The windshield attachment also works very well.

I bought two units, both are getting the same critical error. I bought memory so that's not the issue. I wish I still had the packaging so I could get a refund. im so angry, this will affect all future purchases though amazon.com because I bought it on amazon.com im that angry.this product is not worth the time or effort of the service plan I bought.unit will not turn on and off as described, losses signal in places it should not, the lighting and display are substandard as is the street names and other sub menues.if these units worked as described they would be an ideal choice but they do not. they do have lots of neat features others don't have... when they work as described.if your looking for something that works like tom tom or a roadmate I highly recommend you go buy a tom tom or roadmate and save yourself a lot of anger.

I bought this because it was multi country and warranties etc. After using it for a few weeks in the USA I am quite pleased with it. Dont have to wait for it to pick up Satellites like some TomTom's I have used. Two problems, sometimes it just stops working and says 'lack of memory', so i just turn it off and start again, annoying when you are travelling along the interstate. The other issue is, while travelling to Searcy Arkansas, I already new the direct route, so I decided to take it, she continually tried to get me to turn around and go the way she wanted without even calculating a new route. Her mileage was 117miles true mileage was 37 miles so be careful. Not tried it yet in the UK. Reasonably priced as long as it keeps working. So far so Good

I purchased this for my Dad for fathers day and he's used it few times and is very happy with it's functions, accuracy and size. The only negative he mentioned is the battery life isn't that great. To me thats a pretty big draw back. Also this is a replacement unit, the first I ordered locked up and wouldn't go to the navigation screen. I don't know what that says for quality control but my dad is happy with it.

This product did sort of work for our trip to Norway in 2017. Bit slow and clunky, but it did find acceptable routes and had no trouble locating GPS satellites. The maps are not update able as this vendor is no longer authorized for " free lifetime map updates" as advertised on Amazon by the GPS vendor. You can buy the updates, but I would no do so due to the lack of response from this supplier. It is a shame Amazon does not do more to make sure its marketplace sellers uphold their product promises for goods sold on their site. Too easy to simply make a quick buck and then disappear.

It seemed to be very good the very first day we received it. By the third day, the sound completely died. We could not get it to operate no matter what we tried. Very bad experience - returned it immediately. Likely, we got a bad one, but I won't buy another from this company.

It works ok, but not without glitches. Doesn't always turn on or off without problem, and quite often freezes. A pop up box often appears that says there is not enough memory, even though I purchased a 32 gig mini sd card for it. Sometimes the popup box gives instructions to close an application because of memory shortage, but the only application I use is the navigation. Also, says I should convert the memory in settings, but there is no way to do so. There is no manual, so you have to email the seller and the instructions are vague, almost like they are for a different unit. If you don't use it everyday like I do for work, it might be ok for the price, half of a good Garmin, but I guess I got what I paid for.
