This was a good waterer.
I connected this up to a barrel and the chickens 🐔 love it. With the heat tape and tank heater I am ready for winter.

Needs proper fittings
The water connection for this unit does not fit a 3/4" hose bib. It is a 3/4" threaded NPT fitting. You will need to use an adaptor.

Valves are trash
I expected that having brass valves would make this an improved product over others available. I was wrong. Well, I assume it's not an improvement, considering that one of the two will not shut off, and the other will not freely come on when the water is low.The hoses that this product comes with also leak, not from the threaded connection, but from the hose to fitting connection. My hands are cut up from the sharp steel edges, so wear gloves while you work with them.Not impressed. I'll go back to red cups.

No Adapter, bought the waterer two different times and neither time had an adapter.
JUNK, why bother sending people a waterer with no adapter. It won't work, just plain ignorant on their part.

Not as advertised
It will not connect to faucet or water hose. Have to buy adapter.

It comes missing the adapter.
I have boibgh the first, gave it back and the second comes missing the same part. The adapter.
