Transformers Toys Generations Legacy Series Leader Blitzwing Triple Changer Action Figure - Kids Ages 8 and Up, 7-inch

First off I’d like to get the cons out of the way. The cons with this figure is that it is definitely not leader class size. I’d also like to say that the transformation is frustrating and kind of finicky. It is also more pricey than it should be. With the cons out of the way I strongly believe that this is an incredible figure. Accessories are incredible it includes a lot more than regular mainline transformers. That being said I don’t have much experience with third-party transformers but again for a mainline transformer and it is incredible.

Sure, there is tank kibble hanging under the jet mode and jet kibble sticking out in front of his tank. But what the whiny adult toy collectors fail to realize is that this is the best Blitzwing figure - a children's toy -ever made at this price point and he looks very faithful to the G1 character. There are probably 3rd party companies that produce a Blitzwing with faultless looking vehicle modes but they can cost 3 times as much as this awesome figure. Buy with confidence!

Love this remake

My son and I both got this figure and were super excited about it. Blitzwing is an awesome character with his triple-change capability. This takes me back to a picture I have of me when I was a young boy, sitting in a Red Lobster, with a G1 Blitzwing in my hand. When I look at Blitzwing in all his modes, it gives me that great Nostalgic feeling! That being said, there are some pros and cons. I will add in that is NOT a leader class figure and the two extra "energon fists/blasters" nowhere near justify a leader class price point. Robot Mode Pros: 1. I really have no issues with the robot mode. This the best Blitzwing by far when it comes to this mode. The Titans Return mode was really good I thought, but this figure truly captures the G1 essence of Blitzwing. 2. The sword is a good size for the robot mode, not too big and not too small for the size. 3. Very poseable; you should be able to get some great stances with all of the joints. Robot Mode Cons: 1. The tank parts are a bit of kibble on his back, but it was integrated pretty well where it doesn't look too bad. 2. There are some pins that allow rotation of certain parts that I am worried the plastic won't hold up long-term. I suggest being careful when moving some parts around to extend the life (small silver wings, feet that unfold, the main tank kibble that moves back and forth on one pin) Tank Mode Pros: 1. A great take on the tank mode. I was worried the jet part that sticks out would be an issue, but it doesn't look that bad. That being said, if a 3rd party releases a decent cover for this, I would get it to cover it. 2. The tank mode has a mean look to it. No doubt it is a tank, but you know you would not want to mess with this tank. Tank Mode Cons: 1. While I don't have an issue with the jet parts sticking out, I DO have an issue with the fact you can clearly see Blitzwing's head with no issues. This should have been covered up a bit more. Jet Mode Pros: 1. If you look at the jet mode from the top, you will clearly see G1 Blitzwing. It's a very nice view from the top. Jet Mode Cons: 1. This is where the figure REALLY suffers. It's too big and bulky for a jet. As soon as you look as this from the side, you see all the tank parts and how bulky it is. I know it's hard to hide all of the parts, but this was a HUGE miss in my opinion. Overall, this is a nice figure. It is not leader class (extra parts doesn't justify the cost unlike Astrotrain). I think the figure is better than Titans Return, but as I really liked the Titans return figure, it isn't by much. The robot mode puts this character over the top. It is SO MUCH BETTER that the Thrilling for 30 figure that suffered from so many issues. If you want the Triple Changer trio (Astrotrain, Blitzwing, Octane), then this figure is a must have! If you have a Blitzwing you are satisfied with and don't want to pay the Leader class price point, I would skip.

It’s a pretty good figure all around, it accurately resembles G1 Blitzwing and his lovely color-scheme. I personally don’t care for alt-modes but they are fine, nothing mind-blowing. Only issue I had was on one of the transformation steps, when you have to lock in the legs, it took extreme pressure, felt like I was about to break the figure any moment.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: My husband loves it

Blitzwing looks fantastic in robot mode. I love the colors and how they integrated the silver. He feels great in hand- sturdy and durable. The alt modes aren’t great, unfortunately. The jet looks better than the tank, but both are clunky.

Really good for a two in one

I don't know why, but I cannot put this figure down. The transformation is near perfect, despite the jet mode looking like it has a tank stuck up its rear, but it does have a few qc problems. 1 the hinge piece for one of the foe wings cracked in just a couple of days. 2 some minor stress marks have appeared over time. 3 some minor paint scuffs. And 4 the sword is warped to an extent, but if positioned right, will look like nothing happened to it.

Très beau transformer. Mon fils arrivent à le faire seul, avec un peu d'entraînement.
