Liked it, works very well on my diesel truck

No change in mileage or performance
This is another diesel fuel additive. The manufacturer makes significant claims that I can't verify. In fact, as far as I can tell there is only one claim that there is any chance for a driver to test: reduced gelling. Diesel fuel will gel in low temperatures (well below 20 deg F). It just doesn't get that cold around here. However, I don't doubt that claim. So why use this stuff?Diesel fuel, unlike gasoline, doesn't have an "octane" rating at the pump. Actually, diesel uses a Cetane value that roughly equates to available energy for the engine.A lot of truck owners believe that a cetane additive will improve performance and mileage. What it all boils down to is how much you trust your fuel supply. Good quality diesel fuel should have the necessary cetane rating and contain the additives to protect your engine. Pow-R 365 diesel fuel treatment has those additives in its formula. So, for a price, you can have both belt and suspenders for your diesel fuel. This product won't harm your engine. It just may not really help. We tried it in our Ford F350 Powerstroke engine truck. We observed no improved fuel economy. The engine ran fine before using and stayed fine with the additive in our fuel. Without dismantling our engine, we have no idea if this product cleaned the injectors or not.I had hoped for increased fuel mileage. I didn't get it. As for the other benefits, all I can do is take the manufacturer's word for it. We'll finish up the free bottle we got, but we won't be buying this product.

FOUR STARS BUT FOR MINOR ISSUES!
Two or three quibbles with this stuff only....well maybe four.1) This bottle-size treats up to 250 gallons. My vehicle fills up with 25.....This bottle doesn't have any marks on it, either for quantity or gallons treated. So, I did a quick calculation in my head at the fuel pump and of course I calculated wrong and poured way too much in, twice.......before I realized my error. Thus some sight lines would be helpful......If the bottle had been marked with lines molded in to the bottle for tenths and a statement that each tenth is good for 25 gallons, everything would have been great.2) No easy pour feature so pouring this is not easy, no matter what, unless the whole bottle is going to go in.What this does do, based on my perceptions, is make the vehicle start faster and it seems to improve pep a little bit, and perhaps makes the idles a smoother (not sure about this). Also, I do notice that there is better fuel consumption vs. untreated diesel....the question is whether the cost of this stuff makes it pencil out on fuel economy alone.....when I had it waaaaaaaay over-dosed, I believe it got .5 mpg better, but meanwhile I had poured about a quarter of the bottle in to treat 25 gallons, and this goes back to my gripe about the lack of marks on the bottle.

Seems the same as other brands
I have a Dodge 3500 with a Cummins diesel engine that I use to haul a camper and tow a boat so it gets a fair amount of recreational use but I don't commute with it. Consequently I always use additives such as Hammonds Biobor JF Diesel Fuel Treatment or Star Tron Enzyme Super Concentrated Diesel Formula to keep the fuel fresh and prevent gelling between refills. This product claims to clean injectors to improve fuel economy, lift cetane to increase fuel quality and improve starting in cold weather, prevent gelling, enhance lubricity to prevent excessive wear, and prevent corrosion in the engine, which is a bit more than the other additives claim to do. Instructions also state that it works with both regular and bio diesel, always a good thing. It's hard to substantiate all these claims since we haven't had cold enough weather to be concerned about starting, but I can say with certainty that it hasn't done anything for my fuel economy. My assumption is that it's because I've regularly been using other brands (mostly Star Tron) and it's equally effective as everything else. It hasn't caused any issues but it also doesn't stand out from the pack. Consequently I choose additives based on price and availability more than anything else.

No instructions but sound like good product
Sounds like a good product to use in my diesel tractor. The longer than normal life of diesel in a tractor needs all the help it can get to avoid fuel breakdown and of course cold weather starting protection. Yes it says this bottle will treat 250gals, However no where does it all all say how much to add per gallon used. I guess if you have a 250 gallon tank just pour in the entire bottle, but nothing I own holds any where near that much. Sure one can do the math and figure it out. Every other product on the market for such give detailed instructions on the bottle. Further more, the bottle has no markings what so ever on it to show how much your pouring out. Not user friendly for small dosage usage. Low rating for this reason.

Does seem to help on the current tank, but can't tell that it provides long lasting improvement
So as I've seen an apparent decrease in the performance of my 2500HD over time, I decided to see what this would do for my mileage. It appeared to give me a boost on the tank that I added it, but I can't say that I've seen a sustained improvement from cleaner injectors, etc. since then. If it's necessary to add it to every tank then first off that's a pain, but more importantly, the added cost may not be recovered in fuel savings.

YMMV
As with most fuel additives it's very difficult to substantiate the claim. A person's driving habits has the biggest effect on gas mileage and no additive has ever been proven to increase mileage. This is for diesel engines and my son used it in his diesel truck. It did seem to help with starting on some cold mornings, probably because it's supposed to help with gelling. However, he could also start his truck a few minutes early and avoid sluggish fuel intake as well. I can't confirm nor deny any claims here so YMMV.
