Can Punch Bottle Opener, Manual Stainless Steel Can Opener 1 Pack

First class, solid tools. Not fancy but practical.

My ancient "church key" died. I was thrilled to receive this modern version and have been pleased with it. Although not designed for this other use, I found that it is also a wonderful tool for those too-tightly sealed bottle caps. Carefully and safely inserting the point of this tool under the plastic seal is just enough to loosen the seal so that arthritic hands can open the bottle. And it comes in a sturdy box, great for keeping it looking new!

So far this can opener is functional, but does not feel as rigid as similar can openers I have used in the past. Can openers that punch through the lid are not as common as they once were.I am not sure that this can opener is stainless steel as described. Magnets stick to it, which means it is ferrous. There are some stainless steels that have a higher than normal carbon content that some knife blades have, but it is unlikely that would be used for a can opener. The metal on this can opener is softer than it should be & may eventually bend.

I wanted one of these for the RV, and I was under the impression this was larger and heavy duty. It is small and I can use it but barely. I wear a mens Large glove, so my hands aren't that big. It is bigger and nicer than others I have seen. But the women in the fam like it so I ended up keeping it. I will be looking for the bigger meaner brother to this and hope I find it. If you guys could make one 1/3 bigger and thicker in size I would buy 5 of them immediately!
