These are great. These give off a warm glow as longer as you're using a warm light bulb. Be a little careful when bending the metal supports that go inside of the lantern where the little hooks for the fixture cord is supposed to wrap. It is soldered on there and will pop off if you try to bend it too much.I put a couple around my house using fixtures I found on Amazon and some GE LED lights because they have great "warm" light that I really miss from the old incandescents. Perfect! Exactly as pictured! Looked great for my back yard wedding. Make sure you get the hang of putting them together or you can rip them ( that's how all paper lanterns are ) make sure you get the "feet" in first and hold it there with one hand. With the other press and bend one side of the top into the hole then the other. Keep in mind it is better to bend the metal that goes inside the lantern then to bend the lantern it self to fit over the metal .

These are the lightweight, almost feather-weight version of paper lanterns that are traditionally made with bamboo ribs and fibrous/washi paper. This economical version is formatted with ultra thin wire, and thin tissue paper for a non-cumbersome and inexpensive alternative.Assembly is super simple. The rectangular tension wire has corners at the bottom that rest on the lower/smaller ring opening of the lantern, and ears at the top that fit into the small rings at the larger opening/top of the lantern. It has an open ring welded to the top bar where you thread the cord of your pendant light.Be careful, these lanterns are fragile, and more than that, any wire ends poking out are ultra sharp.With or without lights in them, I think they work great for dorms, special events, children's rooms, and a variety of décor styles such as bohemian, romantic, etc. Very fun item, would love to have in various sizes.Obviously not as robust or bold as the traditional type lantern, but nice nonetheless for a simplified or temporary decorative light option. Time will tell how they will hold up over time, being dusted, and going through the humid seasons here in FL. I think - with care - they may hold up for years. I will update if anything comes up.

So, these are awesome! They're bigger than expected- which was a great surprise. Once you've got the stabilizing mechanism in, it's pretty sturdy. We hung them from pendant chords and they actually give off a lot of light! Love these! ( Put up a picture so you can see one with a light on and without.)

The ones that got put together without breaking we’re great! The problem is that I swear some of the metal frames were too long for the lantern. About a quarter of them got torn because the metal part was just a bit too long. You had to force it and it would either bend the metal frame or push through the paper lantern. Aside from the ones that got ruined though, these looked really great.My other complaint is I wish it had a better mechanism for attaching the LED lights inside and hanging them. It has two Cshaped hooks inside, but neither one was very good for my use. The LED lights fell off. And so did the lanterns when it got breezy. I ended up tying string on to hold them on.

I live in hurricane territory so I keep these on hand for emergency lighting as well as spur of the moment decorating. They provide a surprising amount of light with only a small battery for each. With a little care they last for years. You will need to purchase a short string of Christmas lights or order the lantern lights to insert inside the shades. These are made of paper so they will not last forever. You can use these to replace old shades that are looking tired.

Well made, attractive and a good value for the price. They are paper and will tear if not hangled carefully, but I had no problems. Light fixture is not included so I made my own.

If I could rate 0 stars I would. These are by far the worst paper lanterns I have ever purchased. We purchase a great deal of wedding decorations for our business and these lanterns were a total waste of money. The glue stuck to the lanterns making it impossible to open them for use, without the paper tearing and disintegrating in your hand. Total disappointment.
