Great product, effective, little goes a long way
I use a little less than half recommended bottle dosage every day of all seachem ferts (rotate days between trace and flourish complete). Also use online co2 calculator and use just below dose of co2 tank from 5 am to 5pm. Then I air stone at night. Slightly underused recommended fish food once or twice a day. I take no days off. 2/3rd water change and vacuum every 10 days. Perfect numbers and very slow minimal acceptable algae growth on walls to be hardly visibly noticeable. I created my own HOB power filter and pre-filter using a number of materials from amazon sources. I only clean the sponges and not the physical media, squeeze them out in the throw out water that comes out during water change. Aquarium maintenance 101 from a newbie. Use as little substrate as possible to keep plants alive to more easily avoid snails. Clean literally everything before putting into aquarium, better for it to die before going in aquarium than to introduce snails. Scrape the walls of algae at each waterchange. If you get snails, take literally everything out but fish and inverts, and soak it in a low ratio bleach plus water bath for like 20 minutes, this is the only way to kill all pest snails literally. Drain the water to just enough for the fish and inverts to swim and live, then scrub the entire aquarium with a scraper and take out literally anything you can see. Scrape again 3 times. Wipe it all down and make sure all there is you can see is the fish and inverts and clear water. Then wipe again. Add plenty of cycling bacteria from multiple sources you can find on amazon including seachem. Refill the aquarium with the bleach soaked plants decorations subtrate and filter medias. MAKE SURE YOU SOAK IN PLENTY OF DECHLORINATOR AND WATER FOR 20 MINUTES first. None of your plants should die off completely but they will lose and have killed a good amount of their leaves and roots but they should survive and regrow if you fert and change new water and quick cycle with added bacteria I truly hope this helps. My first year with a fully stocked nano tank has been a lot of time reading and experimenting. The pest snail battle was epic but I've been free for 6 months completely. I win. Oh and didn't lose a fish or invert and plants are beyond original growth. This is with having done zero quarantining or adapting at any point. I also cycled from day one, no precycling. Use a 24 hour light with cycling phases and full K spectrum for plants. It is way easier and effective and worth the minor price increase over standard lights. And it is fun Also add Indian leaves and a UV filter Filter floss = crystal clear water. Chemical filtration is entirely unnecessary Have had no issues and made zero adjustments in six months everything has been clear and clean, green growth strong, living things have thrived. Electric heater w built in temperature control at 82 degrees for tropical fish and plants

Good product. One bottle will last forever. My plants are vibrant and healthy.
I purchased some Amazon sword plants for my aquarium and right away they started turning yellow. I right away knew they needed fertilizer so i purchased this and it turned them around! They are growing and thriving now. To be fair, i also purchased root tabs and am using them both. I think the combination is really what did the trick, but this is a fabulous product. You only use a little, so one bottle will last a long time. Doesnt bother my fish or my snail, but does wonders for my plants.

Best fertilizer out there!
This product is my ride or die, along with root tabs. I have attached pictures of all three of my planted tanks and you can just see how good the plants look. This product is super easy to use and safe for all of my tanks, communities or species only tanks, and functions as it’s supposed to. I have never had any water quality issues after using the product as directed on the bottle. This produce does have a bit of an irony smell to it though, it doesn’t bother me but it could bother others who may be sensitive to smells. This fertilizer is amazing and is one of the best fertilizers out there in my option. I have also never had any issues with algae because of this product, all of my tanks are out of direct light so algae isn’t a huge issue for me.

Only use when necessary
This fertilizer works great and I believe most of the sources of negative reviews are people misunderstanding the use of this product. While it's an all-purpose fertilizer, it shouldn't be used every week like some people say. It should be saved until you notice your plants have a nutrient deficiency (see attached photo). Poor lighting and poor water quality can seem like a nutrient deficiency so once those are dialed in, you shouldn't change them dramatically. The reason I stress why you shouldn't use this weekly is because adding it will alter your water chemistry. It will raise TDS (total dissolved solids) which some fish are sensitive to. In addition, it's impossible to know the nutrient levels in your tank without specific testing strips/equipment. An influx of any nutrient can become a problem for fish/algae and especially invertebrates. I'm not saying you should go out and buy brand new testing kits, but instead only use this product when needed, not as a regular routine. That will keep your tank much healthier and prevent excessive nutrients which can cause algae outbreaks and imbalances in water chemistry. As far as this specific fertilizer goes, it works great. My only complaint is how concentrated this is since dosing a 10 gallon tank needs 1/8 teaspoon which is a tiny amount. At least it will last until it expires. Update: This fertilizer works great. My plants looks very healthy and my fish, snails, and shrimp are doing fine. I highly recommend this as opposed to expensive alternatives

Great fertilizer and works great for not just aquarium plants
Works great for my aquatic plants in my aquarium. Easy to measure and use. Does expires after opening and needs to be refrigerated. I have 3 small aquariums: 36 36-gallon, a 20-gallon, and a 10-gallon. It's more than enough, so I use it in my hydroponic plants too, and they are finally growing, and I just started using it on my potted plants since the hydroponic ones are responding so well. Great quality products that keep my plants in my aquarium and home happy.

A planted aquarium must have
My Anubias and Amazon sword love this stuff. Had my first anubias bloom a flower using this. Also you really get a good bang for your buck I only need a few drops in my 20 gallon with a standard filter and grow lights. This will last a good while.

Seems fine
I can tell you to make sure and not over dose because that causes an opalescent film and foam. Some of the stem plants seem to be doing better, less yellowing. However, it does not appear to be helping the Pennywort plant, leaves still yellowish w/some blackish spots as well. But, the Java fern, Cabomba, Elodea, all looking green and growing well. SOME of the Corkscrew Vals' leaves still have a tendency to go transparent and then float off/break off/die, but not all. I think my lighting is the issue w/the Pennywort and Vals. I suppose the test would be to stop using it and see what happens. This is the real reason for the 3 stars I guess. Will have to test that theory maybe and update rating.
