Fresh!
I have ordered this product again on Amazon (see my previous two stars review below) thinking that I am ordering from a different supplier - I needed it urgently and my local store did not have it, so Amazon was faster and I took the risk. I still do not understand if my two orders came from the same/different suppliers, but this time the product is very light greenish-yellow (perfectly fresh) and plants are doing very well.Previous review:The solution is dark brown, so there is mostly Fe (III) there. Plants need Fe (II), most of plants can not use Fe(III). These bottles are so very old that most of Fe(II), which is very light green, is oxidized to Fe (III), which is brownish orange. Have planted fish tanks all my life, I KNOW how the fresh product should look. While the bottles are closed tightly, oxygen from air can penetrate the plastic bottle's walls if this bottle has not been used for many years. This is exactly the case here.

Seachem stuff always works!
Seachem is my personal go to company for the few chemicals that I use in my tanks, I usually Seachem stuff always works! I however only use half the dosing, adding the second after a few days, not a fan of nuking my fish.

Another Good Seachem Product
Iron supplement for your plants. Red plants require more iron than most green plants, typically. This is a liquid supplement to add weekly or after a water change. There are instructions on the label for use but I do wish it was simplified like Aquarium Coop's Easy Green line, where they have a pump head on it that treats 10 gallons per pump. Anything that takes some of the guess work out is a win for me so because I prefer that product over this, it only gets 4 stars. Seachem Prime is a solid 5/5 though so don't get me wrong, I like a lot Seachem products, just not their fertilizers as much.

Did it was supposed to
I had a really bad iron deficiency that decimated many of my plants within in my aquarium with new leaves littered with pale coloration. Dosing Flourish Iron definitely fixed my problem, and I clipped/rid of the casualties after I saw positive results. Additionally, my ph is on the high end of 7.8, so the type of iron present in Flourish Iron works more effectively for my plants than Aquarium Co-Op did. I dosed 2 capfuls 3x a week, and I’ve been doing so for over a month now.

Noticable difference
I have amazon swords from a chain store. Not always the best quality but the price was just too good to pass up on.There was noticeable discoloration that couldn't be attributed to them being in a new tank since that time passed. I started using this in conjunction with some DIY root tabs and wowie! I have plants that are strong and giving off new leaves quite often.Seachem is the gold standard.

Plant guy
Plants love Iron in both the water stream and at the root level. This delivers the water stream level.
