I got a new mattress recently and although I have always used a mattress pad under my sheets on my bed, this mattress has a pillow top and it was too much to add the thick mattress pad. I got a mattress protector with my new mattress, but it felt very plasticky and I could hear it rustle when I moved around on the bed. I didn't like the way that one felt, although it was thin. I wanted a thin, soft and waterproof protector so I started looking online. I found the Slumberfy pad and tried it out. It is perfect! Does not mask the pillow top of my new mattress as it is thin. It has a very soft feel and makes no sound, yet it is waterproof. I am very happy with this one. By the way, I also bought a protector from COOP, which was another highly rated brand. I was surprised to see that these are exactly the same pad, except for the 'private labeling', as the Slumberfy pad has "Slumberfy" embossed into the pad in several places, while the COOP one has "Coop". Otherwise they are exactly the same and Slumberfy is less expensive.

I normally sweat during sleep. After one year of using this mattress protector I decided to wash this mattress protector and found that this mattress protector work very good to keep out my sweating moistures penetrating down into the mattress. I do recommend this mattress protector. This is a revised review.

Bought this for my new Temperpedic bed in June 2022. It’s very comfortable and definitely water proof. My little Yorkie had a pee accident on my made bed. It went through the blanket and sheet but was stopped by the this mattress pad. This morning she was sick and vomited onto the mattress which is what prompted me to write this review. It was a good amount and watery and the mattress cover stopped it 100%. Because my mattress has a 10 year full replacement warranty and Temper-Pedic’s are so expensive I really wanted to protect it. The only requirement of the warranty is that it doesn’t get stained. I feel very protected with this pad. Have washed it at least 10 times and it still retains its waterproof ability.

I'd written a five-star review shortly after receiving this mattress cover in early 2022, and I'd like to reiterate that this cover is *by far* the best I have ever owned. And that covers purchases since the Nixon Administration :-)

Long story short my cat started pissing everywhere, and did so on my bed. Seeped through my duvet cover and sheets deep into the mattress. After cleaning it for like 5 consecutive days to get all of the smell out (to prevent future attraction to the spot), I was so traumatized by the experience that I decided a waterproof mattress cover was an absolute MUST. Did a lot of research and decided on this one. The material is very soft and breathable. Hasn’t made the bed feel any hotter. Also doesn’t make that annoying awful crinkling sound that others do. Honestly have not tested how waterproof it is (and my cat hasn’t either thankfully!!!). I plan on spilling some water on it to see how well it does (hopefully my cat doesn’t get to testing it first HA). Will update review once I do that :)

This fitted-sheet style mattress protector gives my hybrid (foam/coil) mattress protection while still allowing it to breath. I had previously purchased a mattress protector that completely enclosed the mattress. It didn't allow the mattress to breath, so after the foam was compressed by laying on it, the mattress didn't receive air to help it regain it's shape again.This mattress protector solved that problem! It's also easy to put on/take off. It's quiet, soft, has no chemical smells, and I would definitely recommend giving it a try!

First week I had it, I spilt water all over my bed lol I immediately freaked out and the top of the protector was wet so I was obviously frustrated. But I took it off and realized the underside is what is water resistant so the water never went through and my actual mattress was definitely protected!:) Very pleased about that. Next I am severely allergic to dust mites I actually ended up in the hospital last year due to an allergic reaction we didn’t know what it was until I saw an allergist (I got a skin test and it confirmed dust mites -I blew up like a tomato). So I got this mattress protector for the purpose of protecting my skin a bit from the dust and I am so happy because I haven’t had an allergic reaction since I put this protector on! I would 100% recommend. Its also thin (bit thicker than a sheet) but you wont even really know its there which I like. I’ve had for a very long time now and it still works amazing!
