Excellent cutting, look, and love that they're USA-made
I discovered Rada knives a few years ago. I bought a serrated knife that I use every day. I've only had to sharpen that knife once, and I did so with an old-fashioned knife sharpener rod. The knife's handle did become discolored a bit (it darkened) but that was my fault. Even though I only hand-washed it, I would too often leave it soaking in a dirty pan for a few hours until I got to the dishes, so likely any acids in what I cooked caused the discoloring. These are simple and elegant steak knives with a great balance, weight, and feel. I only hand-wash them and never leave them soaking in any dirty water, and then I dry them promptly and put them away. The handles are still as new as the day they arrived. REALLY LOVE that these are made in the US--I especially look for that in the products I buy and that's getting unfortunately hard to find. Highly recommend these, but be careful--they're SUPER-sharp!

Awesome knives
Been using these for 25 years. Combine these with a belt sander and you have a lifetime of use. Dishwasher then 4 times a week no problem.

Rada Knives are great!
We have used Rada knives for decades and love them! As long as they are not serrated, they are easily sharpened and perform well for year. Our new knives are slicing easily and smoothly. We like the stainless steel handles which do discolor from dishwasher soap, so we don't put them through the dishwasher to keep them looking nice. But the knives still work great if you do choose to put them through the dishwasher. The knife handle just does not look as nice.

Very sharp
My parents had a set when we were growing up. I really liked them and when they passed away we inherited them. They are old and the handles being aluminum don't do well in a dishwasher. While our old knife handles are quite rough due to the dishwasher, these new knives are going to my work office kitchenette and will never see a dishwasher.Hand wash only very sharp knives. I would highly recommend these to everyone.

Better knife than the one I paid $100 for
Very high quality and so far I've never needed to sharpen it. I have had it 4 months and I use it every day, that's saying a lot compared to the one I paid $100 bucks for and needed to sharpen it within a month

A very quality product with lifetime warranty
Rada is the best knife brand I've ever purchased. Only complaint is the handle has a dull finish.

Best knife in my kitchen!
I found knives like these over 20 years ago and through the years they disappeared but I had them a very long time so they last. I searched a long time until I found these knives, which are almost identical to the ones I had before. And I love these knives as much as the others. It is called a utility steak knife but I use it exclusively as a paring and utility knife, as a serrated knife is better suited to steaks. And this knife (I bought three) is a good size and weight and feels good in my hand. It’s longer length allows to cut up or dice vegetables after paring, which paring knives do not do. I use a small knife sharpener on it until the thin blade is very, very sharp, each time I use it, so it cannot just be thrown into the sink water; someone will be cut. Not recommended in a dishwasher, it is safer also to wash and dry by hand. Nearly every guest who uses or washes these knives comments on how much they like them. Best knife in my kitchen!

The Rada knife is honestly the best I have ever used . I bought the large and small paring knife and the tomato slicer . I would recommend.
