Nice Style, Beatiful Light Diffusion
I installed this today and I’m very happy with it. From other reviews I expected manufacturing flaws, but mine has none. Before it was hung I wasn’t wild about the reflective plastic inner surface of the outer ring, but installed I don’t notice it at all. Now that it’s dark out I can see how beautifully the fixture diffuses the light throughout my office.Installation was straightforward (though there was one hex nut missing - I didn’t sweat it.) As would be expected, hanging it was a bit of a challenge by myself. Since I couldn’t hold the fixture in one hand while connecting the wires with the other, I ended up putting the fixture on its side and tying the downrod to the top of my ladder with some string. Since I had kept about 22” of wire, this allowed me to connect the white and black wires easily. Then I untied it, tipped it up some, held it with my elbow and connected the shorter ground wires. Finally somehow I held the lamp upright, pushed all the wiring inside the cap and put on the screw caps. The angle was easy to adjust so that the fixture hangs straight down on my sloped ceiling.I used 18” of length for the downrod on my approx. 9’ ceiling (leaving the bottom of the fixture 27” from the ceiling). I kind of wish I had used just 12” so that when we’re seated across the room from each other talking, the strong light from the base doesn’t catch my eye... but while it was very satisfying to successfully install it myself, I’m not going to attempt it a second time.Update 2 weeks later: I bought a second one for another bedroom, and I’m just as happy with this one. No flaws, and installation was much quicker the second time around. I attached a photo of how I tied the fixture to the top of my ladder so that I could connect the wires.Update two years later: I’m still very happy with these lamps and am considering a third. One thing they could easily do to improve it though: change the bulb holders from black to white. When the light is not on and I’m looking up at the bottom of the light, I don’t like seeing black blobs. White would make them disappear.

They all look very nice, while pricing drum chandeliers I noticed that you ...
We moved into a new townhouse and swapped out all of the lighting in our living areas/hallways with Revel brand lighting. We used two of the Revel Nolan 18" Drum Chandelier in the foyer areas (using only the 6" height stem) and one over a landing in our stairway (using the 36" height stem). We used the Revel Lindos 20" Double Drum Chandelier (using the 36" height stem) over our dining room table. We also used two of the Revel Walker 15" flush mount lights in hallways. The combination of these lights really compliment each other, with an open townhouse layout this was really important because you can see the lighting in several different rooms at the same time so we wanted everything to "go together" (we used Canarm Margo pendants for over the island and the Progress Lighting Contemporary Brushed Nickel bath lights in bathrooms and everything goes together beautifully). All of the Revel Drum Chandeliers were simple to assemble, wiring and mounting were the same as any other lights. We are running them with 40w LED lights (some with dimmers, some without...) with no issues. They all look very nice, while pricing drum chandeliers I noticed that you could spend several hundred dollars on each one, and looking at these after we installed them you would not be able to tell that they are basically "cheap" ones. I would recommend them. My only complaint would be that the Styrofoam that protects them in their large boxes is not recyclable, so in our case when you buy several of these lights at the same time (5 in total) the Styrofoam completely filled up our large garbage bins for 2 weeks straight which was frustrating because then we had absolutely no room to fit any other garbage in them during that time.

Brushed nickel hanging light fixture with linen shade
A nice fixture that provides several extensions to achieve the right height. It have a nice modern, classic vib. The cord is concealed within the extensions to give a nice finished look. Hard wired with a nice ceiling plate for installation.

Lovely!
The look exceeded my expectations! It’s a lovely fixture and it’s super bright. The only negative was the mounting hardware would not work with our existing power box. The screws and holes did not match up. Luckily we had previously purchased a universal bracket that swivels and that worked perfectly. Great buy!

Worth the investment, good appearance
This is a pretty well-made fixture for the price. It looks good, but it needs a little adjusting once it's up there. Mine came a tiny bit bent, but I can fix it easily. It's bright with (3) 60 watt equivalent LED bulbs and projects a great deal of light up onto the ceiling. The light reflects back down and makes a nice glow throughout the rest of my kitchen. The mounting plate is a bit small and slippery (the screws in the socket were slightly closer together than the screws in the fixture, so it kept sliding left and right) but I used a screwdriver to stabilize it while I tightened the screws down with the other hand and it hasn't moved since. I set it up as one person, but my arms were pretty tired afterward. It took a little over an hour and a half starting with unboxing, cutting off the power, verifying that power was off, and removing the other fixture. With another person you could probably cut that time in half (I spent a lot of time just going up and down the ladder).

Perfect Size
It's very odd to order light fixtures without actually seeing them - but this chandelier was a very happy purchase. It is sharp looking , clean lines and extremely easy to install. I have an area where the ceiling isn't as high as other rooms and this fixture fit my space perfectly. It makes a nice statement without looking like a flush mount fixture. It came well packaged , and while the instructions said there is a plastic diffuser included , mine is glass. Very white shade. I used 3 / 65 watt LED bulbs and could probably use smaller ( it's listed as max 100 watt ) it also included 4 down rods , but you can see from the picture that I only used the smallest.A very good quality piece at a great price !
