Free range chickens and ducks means you need to wipe your feet before going inside and then removing your shoes! This is perfect! My previous rugs just got mucky and held the muck (hard to clean) and fell apart. This is easy to clean and works great! It even helps to keep hay out of the house lol. A farm life must! It was very helpful during the recent heavy snow as well.

I was having a problem with my dogs chewing up our door mats, so decided to get something they couldn't chew up (they did try but gave up). It works well to remove most debris from your feet and surprisingly enough isn't so rigid that it hurts bare feet. Easy to clean as it does trap some larger items in the wires but can be shaken out. You occasionally have to pick up the mat to clean the debris underneath it as it falls from your feet through the mat. Good product!

Good for shoe scraping before entering the house. The mat surface is smooth and flat, feels like a berber carpet would if you were cleaning shoes on that. It removes dirt and leaves from shoes easily. I got one for the front door and was impressed, so I got another. The second location in on an outdoor tile floor and that slides around some, but I kept it anyway. These are well made and the stainless material is a plus. Previously I was using rubber mats and they were beginning to degrade into black dust. I am happy with these.

I have had one to step into a detached building and they are pretty good. Bought them for my house entrances.
