Pretty much a paintball gun and shoots very powerfully. i'd say this would be 12 and up, because this thing has so much power its i dont think this should be classified as a "toy". but it is one of the best guns my son has bought (so far!) works good and rarely gets jammed. DEFINETLY wear eye protection. only downside is that if you get shot, it will sometimes give you welts. overall, great gun, fun for teens, and easy to use with some practice and its pretty durable.

First, be warned that this gun shoots fast and the balls actually hurt even through clothes. So eyewear and safety is a must for kids at least, even adults at least for eyes. Regular nerf feels like nothing compared to these hyper balls. I don't mind getting shot by my nephew... repeatedly.. in the back. Lol. It's pretty fun to shoot up in the air, balls go high and far. I'm surprised how powerful and fun this gun is for cheap price. It can jam occasionally, but once you clear the balls out and reload it works again usually. Don't care really cause it's so cheap. You'll need hundreds of extra balls, you can empty the gun pretty fast. Need to check out other Nerf Hyper guns, so my nephew can continue painfully shooting me unexpectedly with different guns. 👍

The nerf gun is very fun, it’s very fast and lightweight. It doesn’t jam often and comes with a bunch rounds and is a great gun for its price! It’s very durable and I haven’t had any issues with any pieces needing to be reattached. The gun is very easy to pull back to shoot and is very powerful even at long ranges, I highly recommend this nerf gun for anyone who needs it!

I can't say enough good things about this nerf gun. In the past, nerf guns have been something you grow out of when you're an early teenager due to a lack of range, power, and accuracy. This, however, is a complete game changer. I got one and loved it so much that I got another one. I have no way of knowing if the 110 fps is legit, but what is legit is the fact that it can leave small welts if fired from close range with little clothing. So far, durability hasn't been an issue. The smaller rubber balls have an incredible range for a nerf gun. I can shoot accurately across multiple rooms consistently. I was initially worried that the rounds may put dents in the walls, but I haven't found any evidence of that so far. The only downside is that the balls tend to bounce, so it's easy to lose them. This isn't a big deal though as a pack of 400 can be bought for 20 bucks on Amazon. What I like about this gun is the hopper concept. It's pretty similar to paintball meaning that you just fill up the hopper. There are no loading clips or cylinders. This greatly increases the rate of fire. Overall, a definite keeper. There's a good chance I'll be buying more of these in the future.

I purchased this for about $20. I have mixed feelings about this blaster, It has excellent ammo capacity, great rate of fire using slam fire mode, and a respectable projectile velocity. It also has a tendency to not load from the hopper correctly, and so at times you may fire and not have a ball come out. This happens a lot(even if you make sure to point the blaster straight down to prime). Also, the velocity of the projectiles from this blaster seems on the slow side for a Nerf Hyper blaster, I have a much smaller Nerf Hyper Fuel-20 that hits much harder than this blaster, it also misfires far less than this blaster(although it has issues with balls jamming and a clunky priming). I ordered a spring upgrade for this blaster but have not yet installed it, so that may fix that issue. Overall, it’s pretty fun, and I’d recommend it if you just want something to shoot your buddies with, as long as you won’t be to frustrated by wasted shots. It’s a bit painful if you get hit on bare skin, although not as bad as some of the other hyper models I've used. It’s a little over powered for young children and not reliable enough to be trusted in competitive play. *Update After installing an upgraded spring from OOD this blaster is much more impressive. The projectiles hit HARD. Very fun to plink with at close ranges(under ~30ft), absolutely smashes tin cans. Also, the way the Hyper balls bounce around is endlessly entertaining(especially in hallways🤣). The internals of this blaster were very complex, so only attempt if you have a lot of patience, and are okay with potentially breaking the blaster(if you have experience working with nerf, then it's not so bad). Awesome if you want an extremely hard hitting blaster. Because of this I changed my rating from 3 to 4.

These are my favorite type of nerf gun. The little bouncy balls make perfect projectiles and bounce off every surface. They fly far and pretty straight. These are perfect for starting war with your family or neighbors.

This thing is made very well and I can see it functioning for a long time. It shoots really hard so I wouldn't recommend it for really young children unless they are mature enough to know that it hurts and not to shoot people because this thing can do some damage. It does say the magazine holds 50 rounds but I only got around 20 or so. Other than that amazing blaster!
