Needs lots of workarounds
This is not standard for most doors in US. You will need substantial DIY skills to install. I had to cut it out room for the core to fit. Square peg in round hole. Contact plates do not fit standard pre-routed door and jamb. Had to shave and trim inset in door. I had to cut the square lock rod off and grind ends to fit. Was quite a bit of work to get this to fit and then installing with double screws was tedious and difficult to line up. Once finished works fine. Looks good and I don’t have to worry about a knob hitting my wall as I had limited space for door to basement when open. I’m happy with final product, but beware, needs much work, it’s not simply plug and play.

Not easy to install with standard US door cut outs.
Came with no installation directions and required standard US door knob and latch openings to be altered for this unit to fit. Square peg...round hole! But looks good once installed, and provided low profile door knob we needed.

Good quality BUT, read review
Great quality product but it was not a direct replacement for our pantry door. The face plate and striker plate needed to be chiseled out. Also the bolt did not fit in the standard opening and also needed to be reworked. None of this was and issue for me as I am a wood worker. Just wanted to make others aware.

Love this so much!
Used these on a door that is along a walk way. Very well made

Non-standard size, but good flush option
First, this door latch is a non-standard size and you need to be prepared to make modifications to both the door and the door frame if you're replacing a standard doorknob and strike plate. That said, we exhausted our options before settling on this one. We wanted something with a flush or low profile that latched closed, didn't lock, and could be opened from inside or outside just as easily. This latch works perfectly for what we needed, we use it on our laundry room door to avoid a knob being in the way of our front-loader. It's a little weird getting used to the curved pullout part, but we especially like that it unlatches by rotating either direction and falls flush again into the latch body when released.Installing it was the difficult part, but if you have the knack to get through that you'll be happy with this latch.

Works great, non standard install.
Like others have said this is the only option that I could find that checked all the boxes. Thankfully others have provided very detailed instructions in their reviews to help speed up the install.

Need a Good Number of Tools to Install for USA Door
The media could not be loaded. INSTALL LOCATION: USA DOOR THICKNESS: 1 3/8”PRE-DRILLED HOLE: 2 1/8” DELIVERY: 14 days (estimate given: 4 weeks) Amazon VENDOR: Weidu OUTCOME: Successful installNo instructions included. My photos provide good idea of undertaking. Below are MY steps. Find your own way.STEP 1: increase mortise for latch plateSTEP 2: square-up/increase existing inner round holesSTEP 3: add inner support (if door has predrilled hole); install latch assemblySTEP 4: cut the inner square metal dowel to sizeSTEP 5: cut binder-post screws to sizeSTEP 6: assemble/install to doorSTEP 7: increase/define mortise for new strike plateSTEP 8: install strike plate and detail the finish**See Step-Images and video*****Tried to upload Video of my final review, not sure if it will upload.***NOTE A:Product comes with a white plastic ”latch receiver” that can be placed behind strike plate. But it then adds thickness to the plate, calling for deeper mortising that I did not want to do. Your choice. (This receiver is “cosmetic”. It can hide a particularly ugly wood-hole inside the plate if that bothers you.)NOTE B:This would have worked for me even if my door was a little, or a lot, thicker. There are two square metal dowels included. One longer than the other. I used the shorter one and cut it down even still.SOME TOOLS USED: Wood Chisel Wood filler Drill, bits Screw driver Hand held grinder, blade Hammer Measuring tape Painters tape Screw/bolt cutters Utility knife Etc

Flat door knob
I had no good choice so I had to use a flat door knob. This one does not fit well but it’s usable. Will not tighten up on door even though I cut the long screws which were too long for my door thickness. Would have been better if the correct screws had been provided. Also the door latch would not work for replacing a standard latch as it is square rather than round so I left the latch off. I do not recommend this knob unless you have no choice.
