Works as desired.
Works as desired. Fits my older EK supremacy block onto the AM4 motherboard I purchased. I can't monitor temperatures in OS (linux), but the fans spin up whenever the temperature reaches a certain point. At full load they spin at 50%, so I imagine it is somewhere around 50C (1700 @ 3.8 ghz). This is a great result for such a multicore chip.

and radiator are 9 years old and still function like the day I bought them
Make sure you have a compatible water block before buying. I bought one for my Supreme HF that is about 9 years old. They do not properly work together, and EKWB's technical support confirmed they are not intended for each other. That being said, EK's technical support and product quality are surpassed by none. My EK waterblock, reservoir, and radiator are 9 years old and still function like the day I bought them. I have been running an i7 920 at 4.2GHZ the whole time, so their task was not easy. There are cheaper and highly effective water cooling solutions, but buying quality products like this only hurts once and will last you a lifetime, or until you go all Mad-Scientist like myself and wreck stuff. Here was my issue with compatibility - the cutout for the waterblock bracket is larger than my old SupremeHF. When I tightened the bracket down, on top of the waterblock, it did not touch the top of the waterblock all the way around. It definitely cannot be placed between the top and bottom plate, as it was intended. This caused an uneven pressure load between the top and bottom plate and water began to leak.***DISCLAIMER DO NOT USE MY SOLUTION, THIS IS FOR EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. USING MY SOLUTION COULD RESULT IN MALFUNCTION AND WATER LEAKAGE*** I purchased some longer screws and stacked my old cpu bracket underneath this new AM4 bracket and VOILA, no leaks with a 24 hour burn in test. Also, this product is not very tasty. You cannot chew it, as it is metal, and does not taste like a ham sammich.

Made it work for my waterblock (wb) with some dremel work.
This is a warning to any EK-Velocity wb owners. If you need this to fit, with a bit of dremel work, you can make it thin enough to fit, but be prepared to be grinding for like an hour if all you have is a dremel. Good quality though

Is exactly what it claims
It works great for what it is. I was able to make use of the rubber that came with the waterblock by cutting and pressing the screw through it. I only wish that it did include the rubber as well even if it would increase the cost by around a dollar. It would make life much easier.

Buy here instead of the EK Webstore
EK Web store wants 14$ for the back plate, and another $20 for the front plate.... what a rip off. This is exactly what I needed to upgrade an amazing waterblock, EK Supremacy EVO, from my 2014 LGA 1150 build, to my Ryzen 5 Am4 build. Thanks!

worked great and quick customer service
used this to convert my am3 ekwb to am4. works great. was disappointed to see it not come with a new backplate pad but used the one off the factory bracket. sent email asking if it came with one and they emailed me back a response in just a couple hours. great seller and product.

Not for the EK Predator
Bought it thinking I could use it on the EKWB Predator. Nope. Doesn't fit.

Does not come with gasket, and ugly, but works--here's how:
This is not a quality product in terms of fit an finish. You buy this because you care about performance and retrofitting older blocks, not to use in your show-PC.The real problem is that this does not come with a gasket and you will short your motherboard if you use the backplate bare against the back. However this is not an issue if you retained your original AMD AM4 backplate. Just peel the plastic sticker from that, put it on the FLAT side of the bracket, and mount it facing your board. I believe EK probably intends this but there are no instructions here.
