Good for sofa covers
Honestly, I didn't realise that I needed these for my sofa cover as I had dumped the original foam sticks that came with it. Every day I was co stantky fixing the sofa cover after sitting on it for a few hours. These foam sticks keep the cover in Shape waaaaay better!! So yes I would recommend purchasing these.

Waste of time and money
Brought these to assist with fitting a sofa cover as recomended. The nature of the product had them rolling (not gripping) on the fabric and continually pinging out of the sofa crevices, releasing the cover. After a couple of refits I gave up as they were squashing and not even returning to shape.

Great simple item dose the job.
Simple item which dose the job cheap but it works.

Not very effective
These strips are made of that polystyrene stuff that's used for packaging, therefore they are smooth around the edge and a bit slippery, so don't stay in place very well. They are also quite small, not just in length, which doesn't really matter and in fact can be quite useful, but in diameter.I had some foam strips years ago which were made of sponge, so had much more grip. These are pretty useless really.
