Bull Leather Collar (15-18, Blue)

For the price, I never expected this level of quality. I am really wowed. The D rings are heavy and well sewn and riveted in. There are two, one on the front by the buckle to hang tags on and one on the back to hook a lead to. The red is a medium color with a matte finish, not shiny. Would take mink oil well. It will break in well over a long period, just like any good leather item. Don't get me wrong, this is NOT luxury level leather. This is working man's leather. You know, the stuff that lasts forever when cared for.

The collar is the good quality. However, my only problem is the fact that the inside of the belt loops pull out my dogs long-hair from around his neck.

I was hoping this collar would last but muy dog broke it in about a week. Not made well for large dogs

Worked well on my Husky who likes to break his collars open, but wear and tear is pretty quick (The D ring started to tear the leather), and the collar comes off pretty easily when he plays with other dogs. Otherwise, it worked for what i wanted, and that was to be worry free while he was in my backyard for an hour alone.

It must be a good collar because ' Hairy Houdini ' has kept it on and not bothered by it.

Came quickly...leather was dry...cracked a bit at stitch line when shaping for our small dog...soaking in water would help this.
