Good nutrition!
Our vet recommended this brand to us. Our dog has thrived on this food. His coat shines, he acts and looks healthier and happier when we feed Nutro! When we moved the new feed store didn’t carry Nutro so we tried another similarly priced brand; we were VERY disappointed.LOVE Nutro brand dog food!

First ADULT DOG Food
I used the Nutro puppy dry kibble for my Large Breed English Mastiff puppy. She loved it. Especially the Brown Rice & Lamb.At 14-15 months, it was time to transition her to Adult Dog Food so, of course, I kept her on the Nutro Natural. It was an easy transition & a little higher in protein for large breeds. *Lower protein puppy food so they don’t grow too fast! She, Olive, loves it as I mix a fresh protein & veggies with the dry kibble. She’s happy, healthy & has a beautiful apricot (copper) coat! Great sign of a healthy animal!Get your dog off the “grocery” brands & give them the good stuff. Make their meal like you make yours… WITH LOVE!Thank me later! Woof! Woof!

I like it...and so do my dogs....
So the question becomes how do you rate dog food, especially puppy food? Is it a five or a three or a two? Send out a sample to an independent lab? What about the next bag, would it be the same....and will my puppy live a long life or will this food shorten his life because it has missing ingredients, poor quality ingredients, poisons, adulterants, pesticides, undesirable drugs, especially euthanasia drugs from animals that have been rendered and then sold to pet-food companies?...there's no way to know and everyone on the web is an expert based on what they heard, what they read or even what they beleive - and of course with no real evidence. The usual arguments are, "it just stands to reason" or dogs are wolves (they're not!) or dogs can't absorb carbs (they can) or some other personal "facts" that are really just opinions and often with nothing to back them up on, other than other people feel the same way.....I rescue shelter dogs that will shortly be killed, rarely puppies, but once in a great while someone will give one up and no one wants it because it's got a "defect" - or it bit an owner that abused it, or it has digestive issues or it's turned out to be much bigger than they thought it would be (that's just dumb!) or, in certain areas of the country, it's just the wrong color.....Of course, if you're reading this, your still waiting to hear why I like this food? Ok....I use Nutro for almost all the dogs I rescue, and rarely veterinary foods for those dogs that need them (think I/D or K/D or the like for dogs with stomach or kidney issues). I've been using Ultra for adults and puppies for about 10 years. Stool is good, dog weight is good, their bloods are always good and they live long lives for their breeds. I have a 15 year old dobbie who's been with me for 13 years (rescued from a drug house and was starving to death when rescued) and that's all he's eaten. So bottom line, no bad events (associated with probable food intake), good checkups and good life expectancy. Are their other foods that are just as good? Probably, but this variety works, and until I find evidence to the contrary, I will stick with it....Why four stars and not five? Five stars, according to Amazon, is "I love it." Folks, It's just dog food. so four stars is "i like it" and that's the fact. Hope this helps.

Dogs love it
Went through a few types trying to find what they like best and we settled in this brand. My cats have even been eating this food. They have their own but I will catch them eating this. We have had puppie, adult and senior brand for my different aged dogs and they all approve

Perfect food to start puppy out in life!
I love this brand and trust it for my puppies! It promotes growth, brain development, healthy teeth and bones, muscle strength, healthy digestion and it’s made with non-GMO ingredients such as brown rice, whole grain oats, salmon protein, flaxseed, farm grown carrots, egg protein, tomatoes, apples, blueberries, coconut, chai seeds, farm grown pumpkin, baby kale & spinach. The Best Buy date is next year in February so they give you plenty of time to use. There is no chicken by product. The first ingredient is chicken. Very happy 😃
