Affordable, and clear instructions and map.
This is my backup Sat nav, works very well, installed easily, and picks up routes quickly, directions are clear, and fits well in car, but would also be great for bigger vehicles. Map is readable and precise. Great value for money, pure quality product.

Excellent Sat Nav
The Sat Nav arrived the next day and was well packed. Switched unit on and it was ready to use and setup for lorry. I then entered the details for my vehicle and that I was towing a trailer three axles. I purchased this Sat Nav as I tow a large caravan and did not want to end up down a narrow road or difficult to negotiate area. So far the Sat Nav has performed faultlessly. Advanced announcements are given in good time and also clear lane guidance on the screen. There is also a choice of two male and two female voice’s with and without street names being announced. The display is large and clear which makes it easy to take just a quick glance when approaching a junction to see which lane to go in. The Manual is comprehensive and the unit is easy to use. Under the route setting you are able to select Fast: Short: Eco: or Easy. I decided to mount my unit on the dashboard so as not to obscure the windscreen and it still received the signal from the satellite ok. I feel very reassured using this Sat Nav while towing and would recommend it.

VERY DISAPPOINTED
Colour definition washed out, dashboard mount no stickability. The whole unit detatched from the dash, resulting in screen damage which means I cannot send this poor quality item back for a refund.

Bigger screen and slightly faster CPU ( I think)
Delivered in one day, and packaging was nice and neat. The 9inch display is a treat to look at. I have had the 7inch Bluetooth version for about 2 years and decided to upgrade. It's the same as the last model just less features Bluetooth been one of them, but I am guessing that will be added in other 9inch models but I am not letting that bit get in the way of the review. This is a budget Sat nav, and what you get is within the price range. Maps are a tad bit out of date, but some common sense you can look past that and still find new or upgraded roads. The GPS is soild and this sat nav will do it's best to avoid all roads with weight limits or low bridges that includes small wide bridge's, that provides you put in the right numbers.ProsPrice is spot on.Bigger screen is a welcoming addition.GPS signal seems better then last model.Battery life improvedConsNeeds more map updatesEasier and faster ways to get updates (app Maybe)No BluetoothFinding address could do with a tweak. Where it says town I think it should use the GPS to find your current location instantly then you type in the road. That's more convenient to me but others may think differently.Other then that it's a great product.

Great
Great bit of kit used it in my car and motorhome but in dimensions of the vehicle and sets the route accordingly

Kept recalculating directions on test.
On the whole to Ohrex for the price was a little gem, the options & settings were plentiful with city centre shops actually named so you could just search for a shop name & did not have to be MS or a supermarket you could search for the obscure & it was there. All the extras were brilliant & we thought what a great tool far better than Tom Tom or Garmin. Then we had to use it to give us directions & that is where it fell on its face.We tested the OHREX GPS on 2 long trips, the setup was not easy on either trip one to Paignton & the 2nd to Liskeard both from Plymouth. We will disguss the 2nd & final trip here. Journey started & the GPS had a mind of its own. Started on our journey which should take us across Tamar Bridge on route to Liskeard in Cornwall. From the start the OHREX took us in a direction which was not the fastest route. Our route options were to avoid uneven roads & toll roads, there were none on route anyway. But the Ohrex wanted us to avoid the bridge & take the ferry taking us way off direct & fast route. The Ohrex kept recalculating & giving directions which we knew to be wrong. The Ohrex seemed to insist the route should be taken & was determined to recalculate the route telling us to turn back. We eventually arrived in Liskeard. Had lunch before returning only to find the exact same procedure was happening on our journey home to Plymouth. Even when we were traveling over the Tamar bridge the GPS was telling us to take the 4th exit at the roundabout the other side & return back over the bridge to recalculate.Needless to say we have returned this part gem part nightmare to use Ohrex. It’s a shame the price was good the options were great. We even tested the music player built in to it. We put MP3s on a micro & played that while travelling & every time an instruction was given the music volume dropped to accommodate the instruction. If it were not for the GPS its self this would have had a good 9 out of us but in the end 9 for the options & 3 for the GPS directions.
