Dandelion (called also common dandelion) is a weed that grows in gardens and meadows. Dandelion is one of the most nutrient-rich herbs. The roasted root is used as a coffee substitute. Dried Dandelion Root can be eaten in its whole form. To make a decoction, add 1-2 tsp the Dandelion Root to 250 ml boiling water and simmer in a pot on low for at least 20 minutes, then strain the mixture. You should strain the root out the minimum of 5 minutes before drinking your tea.
