Women 's 1920s Black Sequin Gatsby Maxi Long Evening Prom Dress

I bought this dress for a black tie wedding and it was perfect! I honestly can't believe the quality for the price point. Everyone asked me where I got the dress from and couldn't believe it when I said Amazon! The material was slightly stretchy, so the dress was super comfortable. I'm typically a size 4 or 6 and purchased the 6-8 as I was on an all-inclusive vacation for the week leading up to this wedding and knew I'd be a few pounds heavier than normal. All in all, this dress was a great value and I highly recommend!

I really love this dress. Got many compliments on it. It is a little long, so I had to get some heels to wear with it (I am 5'6"). I love the sparkle and it is not excessive. I recommend this dress, choose to have a little pizzazz at your next affair.

I ordered this dress in 2 sizes for fit (Color choice - burgundy. ) I am 5 ft 6 inches and 170 lbs and kept the larger 14-16 as I liked the way it fit. The wedding was a black tie function and this dress was amazing. I received so many compliments and it did not disappoint even for the value! Thank you!

I was skeptical on purchasing this dress however- it was perfect for the event.I would say this dress is ideal for someone 5’8 and below. I wore flats under it and my feet were visible at 5’9.The quality was solid. And for a gala dress under $75 you cannot go wrong with this option.

It was as described as the product was presented in its description if you are tall plan on wearing flats and it is sheer at the bottom

Well where do I start! This dress is amazing for the price. I've bought this for a black tie works Christmas party, I didn't want to spend the earth but wanted something georgeous. To be honest I couldn't believe the reviews for the price. Firstly, I am 5'2" and size 12-14 but more brands fit as 12. I read the reviews carefully and bought 16-18. It fits perfectly. I may have squeezed into the smaller size but expect I would spend my whole time breathing in. Because of the cut and weight of the fabric it hits all the right places as it goes down rather than look loose. My height means the sequin part is about 2-3" above my knee - perfect. I expected to raise the shoulders as I do for most clothes, thank goodness I can sew, but I don't need to! I will have to take about 6" off the bottom. I may even put a ribbon edge on the hem to give some weight to the voile. The fabric is beautiful and the photos do not do justice to the sparkle and pattern of the top part of the dress. The bottom part is opaque rather than really see through and fine as, being short, it doesn't start too far up my legs. If I had seen this in a shop I would have paid much more - I have paid much more for a heavily beaded/sequinned dress. I bought the blue and it is a lovely midnight blue with very complementary beading. Finally it was delivered timely with hardly any creases to the voile.

Looks elegant and feels comfortable but the dress is only half-lined not fully lined as in the photograph, so is see-through from the knees to the feet. The half-lining rides up as you walk which means you end up flashing your thighs as well as the rest of your legs. Not the elegant refined look I was hoping for. Dress is being returned

This is quite an attractive and well constructed gown. I'm about an 18 on top and 22 bottom, this XXL stretched over my hips and I didn't have to use the zipper. Consists of a sheath with chiffon skirts attached (relatively easy to shorten with some knots here) and the beaded bodice pulls over and is tacked on both sides. Many compliments. Wore for a Jazz Age Murder Mystery with a plush stole and Great Gatsby headpiece and won best costume.

I am a size 20 but can still fit into some size 18 dresses in my wardrobe. But I ordered a size 20-22 just to be on the safe side - and it was FAR TOO SMALL all over! Also, the zip was sewn so close to the sequins that it pulled a thread as I was opening the zip to try it on. Needless to say, I had to return it.
