This book is an excellent resource for those interested in the history of waffle irons. I wanted it as a resource to use while I searched for a used waffle iron preferably before 1950. It is so helpful in evaluating what price should be paid as well as pertinent facts about the manufacturer. The recipes in the back are wonderful. I highly recommend this book.

Contains so much information! Original prices, all different models, and history of each company as well as of waffle irons themselves. Well worth the $3 I spent on the kindle version. This book has been an invaluable resource and manages to convey information without becoming boring as so many factual books do. And it also has some old waffle recipes the author found from his research and tested.

Wonderful reference book, lots of detailed information and even a few recipes in the back but would be really great if it had color photographs (inside the book) like is shown on the cover. And a hardcover option because you will refer back to this book again and again.

Picked up a couple old waffle irons and while looking for some background on them I found this book. While mainly history and facts about waffle irons it has a lot of background on the major appliance makers and their trials and tribulations.Good fun reading!Sandy

Very concise and accurate photos and prices. We keep this book on hand as a reference guide when we find new toasters to add to our collection.

Gostei porque não existe similar sobre o assunto. Não gostei porque esperava maior qualidade na encadernação e no papel. Pensei que o livro fosse em capa dura.
