Mounting instructions are wrong?
Seems to be well made and of sturdy iron. Easy to mount onto a wall. However, the mountain instructions seem bass ackwards to me! Does it seem weird to anyone else that they tell you to mount it with the bolt slot down? Seems like that would allow the tire to fall off if the bolts loosens over time.I'm ignoring their advice and mounting it with the slot facing up!

Well made
Nice sturdy device. I used it in my horse trailer to secure a second spare tire. These tires are very heavy (75 lbs?), so I used the hanger to just secure neatly against the wall with most of the weight on the floor. I wasn’t confident the screws would hold up the full weight.
