8Bitdo Wireless USB Adapter 2 - Multi-Platform: Switch, PS5, PS4, PC & Mac; Raspberry Pi Compatible

Worked really well when paired with a PS5 controller.Connection was good and it never dropped during gameplay.

Worked straight out of the box for my Nintendo switch, my friend can now connect his Xbox controller to it to play alongside me. Joycons just feel too small and not comfortable to use even for my small hands so this way he can use a controller he's comfortable with, some features obviously don't work as he's not using a Nintendo controller of some kind but it's good enough for now. This 8bitdo works on any switch console and let's you use whichever controller you like on it, I think you do need to connect it to a laptop for some software or updates for it to work for some things, but I've not had to so far.

It works but I would recommend you to follow the steps below to make it work with ps5 controllers and Switch. It will also save you the headache...First update the 8bitdo2 adapter connecting it in your computer. It is easy. Download the firmware update in support.8bitdo.com - upgrade tool . Open the app inside of the folder and then connect the adaptor to your computer, making sure you are pressing the button at the same time you plug it. Select the 8bitdo2 adapter and update to the last version.Once it is updated, connect the 8bitdo2 adapter to the usb port of the switch dock. It will start flashing. Leave it there.Second, go to settings on the switch and make sure that Pro controller wired communication is on.Third, go to controllers, change grip/order.Fourth, in your ps5 controller, tap the play station logo and the share button for about 3 seconds until the ps5 controller starts flashing.Fifth, tap the little button on the 8bitdo2 adapter.In few seconds the lights will stop flashing and the ps5 controller will vibrate, meaning that they are fully synchronise.I hope it helps.

I bought this for my Nintendo Switch to enable four player play (having already got a first generation version of this adapter some years ago, which gave me a third). These things are brilliant for giving a new lease of life to old controllers and opening up multiplayer in a cost-effective way, and they work flawlessly in operation - you honestly wouldn't know any difference from native controllers (except for the inherently wrong feeling of controlling Mario with a Dualshock controller!)A note for others: you need one of these adapters for each controller you intend to use, and you can use them just fine with a usb splitter - including on the Nintendo Switch, which is important because the adapters themselves are so wide that you couldn't fit two of them side by side in the Switch's built-in USB ports on the side - possibly the only design flaw of these otherwise brilliant little devices.

Not recommend.Bought it in a month or two and it was fine but now suddenly my duealses is not connecting anymore.Look somewhere else

It does what it says, if your's doesn't work try updating its software. It's a bit bulky so it might end up blocking 2 usb slots, but yea simple to use and works well.
