Viori rice bar Citrus Yao shampoo/ conditioner
I've always wanted to try Viori i seen the advertisementmany time. I managed to get the prime day sale with the bamboo box oh my goodness I love the bamboo box beautiful. When I opened it I LOVE LOVE the smell.I haven't tried it yet I will update the review once I do. I got the one that is for oily hair the citrus Yao. My only thing is I wish the bars were a bit bigger I'm hoping they last.Update👉 So last night Saturday, July 27, 2024. I was able to finally use the Citrus Yao for the first time. I followed directions with the shampoo bar lathers perfectly. I was able to rub it on my hair as instructions said to. I washed my hair twice with the shampoo bar. Rinsing my hair it felt silky clean even after washing it twice love the smell. I don't use any other products for my hair once in a while hair spray but not that often, no blow dryer either.I purchased this for the natural, chemical free, option. We get enough chemicals from food and other things I also use chemical free lotion though I know I won't get away from the harsh things we come across I'm trying to get as close as possible to limiting what I do get. I hope my review helps.😁Now with the Conditioner bar I got it wet rub it in my hands and then rubbed my hair with my hands in which I then rubbed the bar on my hair, I did have to get the bar wet once more not a big deal to me it did as it said. However I did get a bit carried away put to much on 🤭🤭 my hair so I made sure to rinse really well.Getting up in the morning my hair feels clean, not heavy or oily or like there is a oil feel.I love this and can't wait to repeat this.I set the bars aside while in the shower so they could dry then I put them back in there packages neatly an put them back in the box.

On the fence? Try it!
I made the switch over to bar shampoo/conditioner and I don’t think I’ll ever go back! I saw this company advertised, and was on the fence but I can truly say, I’m in love with Viori’s products and cannot stop raving about them. I have LOTS of fine, blonde hair and my scalp tends to be on the oily side. I used to wash every other day, but would still need dry shampoo in between washes. With this product, I wash every 2-3 days and my hair isn’t very oily in between. Day 3 without dry shampoo pushes that limit, but still is manageable. This product did take some time to get used to, as it doesn’t lather like traditional shampoo. Once you figure it out, it’s PHENOMENAL. The shampoo does a great job of cleansing without build up, and the conditioner is legit magic. My hair has never felt better!

It works wonderfully!
I love the Viori shampoo and conditioner I first received as a gift! The shampoo fragrance is wonderful, feels like a spa treatment. The conditioner is excellent, too. My older, color treated hair loves both! I ordered more for me and friends and have told others to try it!

Good but….
So my hair is very fine but thick, long, and starting to go gray. Which is making my hair feel like straw, so bought this to try.Bought it in January got it in around the 20th of January. This is what it looks like by middle of February. The bars break apart and are almost impossible to use after that happens. For the money you spend to have it last only one month was very disappointing. (Full disclosure I wash my hair twice a day and only condition it once a day.)Pros:It made my hair feel soft and seemed to work.Hair smelled very good.Storage container was nice to hold bar.Cons:Doesn’t last long before breaking apart. To pricey to only last a month.Storage container tho nice only holds one bar so had conditioner held in to lid.Overall if you have the money to waste then it’s a great product. But if not probably not worth it.

I'm impressed, and I have a tip for others!
TL;DR: 👍I really enjoy this. I've stopped bleaching, dyeing and chopping off my hair recently, and I have been struggling to find a shampoo that suits my new unprocessed, fine, straight hair. I haven't used 'normal' shampoo since I was in high school & bleached it, necessitating purple toned & very aggressively moisturizing products. This seemed to meet the more 'hippie dippie', 'natural', low packaging ideals, and I really wanted something citrus-y that would pair well with my perfumes.Well, it doesn't have too much of a scent at all! It was initially a little bit disappointing, but works out just fine insofar as not wanting it to interact poorly with my perfumes. It certainly allows them to olfactorily shine through. So in the end, no real complaints about that.Look how shiny my hair is, though! Look how shiny! It's SOFT, too!!! Every bit as soft as it looks! I have both the shampoo and conditioner, and I am quite pleased with both. I'll go one further, too: I mixed up the shampoo and conditioner the first time around, and wound up washing it a second time, so I expected it to be a little bit dry. Especially given the potentially aggressive nature of a shampoo bar: some of those suckers can be hardcore! I'm quite pleased with how my hair looks and feels, on that it's a solid 10/10.I like the bamboo box for it too, which dries as rapidly as one would hope. Its open construction allows the bars to dry well. And check out the packaging! I LOVE the way the shampoo bar was wrapped, in the folded paper...! I don't know what I'm going to use it for but I AM going to find a use for it.Now, my tip: I have used shampoo bars in the past. Good and bad, expensive and cheap, heavy chemicals and hyper-organic uber-natural ones. One of my favorites went bad after I used it and put it into a container without enough air exposure and it didn't dry, and I had to toss it. Others have gotten soggy, or cracked and become brittle. For this pair however, I immediately cut it into pieces and placed 3/4 of each bar into a sealed container. That way, no matter how the piece I'm using dries, or if it crumbles or becomes soggy, I'll have the other pieces to treat differently. Thus far there's no reason to think they will do anything problematic, I'll update if that's the case, but 1* wash in I'm quite pleased, and even the gap between what I got & what I'd anticipated scent-wise has been just fine.*Actually two washes in one shower but the first in the wrong order(Edit: A few months later) Still quite good quality, I still enjoy it, and am still every bit as pleased. The bars don't crumble as they get smaller, and that's cool. Being able to take a quartered piece of each with me in a small tupperware container to the gym saves some space compared to full sized versions, and is a little more secure than travel sized bottles in a ziploc bag. The pieces do get a little harder to hold onto when they get small, but someone told me to try putting the small bits in a piece of pantyhose tied with a big knot. That seems like it would work well and also help create the lather that I enjoy (but which does come with a little work with this shampoo--I know cleansers need not lather to work well, but I like the feel).Still good, still makes my hair feel great.
