Amazing guitar
This Les Paul is awesome. Absolutely beautiful metallic gold finish. Looks just like a Gibson, you'd never know unless you saw the name on the headstock. Please see the attached pictures - I did replace the knobs and added pointer washers to them but you can see the original "speed" knobs in the third picture. Like someone else commented, the top strap peg came out very shortly after playing standing up, so I recommend you secure it with glue or something right away so the guitar doesn't fall unexpectedly. Overall this guitar is great. Excellent value for the price. Also I recommend putting on a fresh pair of strings. I put in PAF pickups and it sounds awesome. Playability is good. I really don't have any complaints about this guitar. I highly recommend this to any guitar player especially if you are interested in learning to play guitar and don't want to break the bank.

Lyxpro
A simple setup was done and it tuned up easily. This is an awesome electric guitar for beginners and just for practicing the music you like. The appearance is perfect. Functions work great. This is a beautiful guitar of good quality. You will be surprised by your purchase of a lyxpro. Also I like the fact that it is stamped made in China.

Excellent build quality for a budget instrument.
I am pleasantly surprised by this guitar. The finish is spectacular, the neck feel and fretboard binding are perfect. It is a bit heavy, but as an SG body, this is to be expected. Strat style guitars are lighter, because the bodies are thinner as well. The pickups sound really good. There is an issue with the selector switch which I will have to swap out b/c it sometimes does not select the humbucker.I got this guitar to swap out the pickups with a pair of Fishman Fluence pickups. But after having plugged it in, I don't think I want to change the pickups. They sound really good. This guitar can easily go head to head with 2k+ $ guitars by Gibson.

Great starter
I am a total NOOB guitar player and this has worked great. the only thing needed was new strings as the ones it came with sucked and the high E broke.

A great guitar!
I bought this guitar knowing that I was going to have to do a little bit of setup once I adjusted the neck and Polished the frets put on a new set of strings I found this guitar to be smooth playing I've been playing guitar all my life I love this guitar I just I can't believe it's so much like a real Les Paul it's a fantastic gift for anybody whether you're a beginner or a pro it plays beautifully the electronics is all solid just a really nice piece unbelievable for the price!

Save your money
I'm not sure what other people are comparing this too, but it is not a good guitar. Quality is horrible. Frets are so sharp they could literally cut you. When I first unpacked it, I thought wow, there's some metal flake in the paint... NO, just so much trash I could get a better paint finish with a spray can in my gravel driveway. And what finish was there had been buffed to death. Compound everywhere. Tuners feel like plastic, cheapest I've ever seen. Then I tried to play it. With the volume knob turned past 1/4 of the way on it was constant feedback and squealing. Even a noise gate couldn't clean it up. If you only have 200 dollars and want a Les Paul style, get an Epiphone Special II. Or any Squire, Ibanez, Jackson, Kramer entry level for the same price and get something WAY better, no comparison. I take no joy in writing this, I was really looking forward to having this model. Even if it would have needed better tuners and a set up, I would have been happy. But this missed the mark at every turn.

Despite the Flaws, Still a Good Guitar
I am not writing this review to complain about the company who made the product in question. This guitar was obviously bought and then returned cause of light shipping damage. The guitar could have been a bit better packaged to ship to be honest and fair. I had to change the strings, which was to be expected. I had to file the fret ends a tiny bit cause the fretboard dried out and the fret wires had perturbed a tiny bit on the ends. I had to oil the fretboard really good to prevent it from drying out and cracking. The tiny small cosmetic ding on the headstock and the strap button on the bottom are the worst part in fairness. But overall it is still in playable condition. I also had to adjust the neck pickup cause it was sunken into the guitar for whatever reason. I am still content with my purchase and what I paid for it. But someone could have at least took the time to replace a cheap plastic knob that was broke. However the strap bottom on the bottom, the screw got bent and it jammed the button into the wood of the guitar. So now I have to fill the hole with wood and glue then drill a new hole and find a screw that fits the strap button in order to actually be able to wear a strap and play it standing up. Again overall... despite its flaws... it is still a SOLID and decent "players" guitar. The electronics work fine. The pickups sound fine. It doesn't weigh as much as a cinder block and it has good resosnace and sustain. The guitar did show up sooner than expected. So I'm not complaining about anything. I just wanted to leave a honest and fair review.

GREAT INSTRUMENT AND FLAWLESS FINISH
The finish on this guitar is beautiful and you can't buy a nicer guitar for the price. The action and intonation was great right out of the box. I did change the strings and going to change the pickups to a better set but for $300 you can't buy a body and neck in DIY Kits this good. I liked this so much I bought another one and modified it with a new set of Epiphone ProBucker pickups and wiring harness with coil split volume pots. Sounds like the real thing. AWESOME

Decent quality, but with some issues
Great guitar for me so far. Some basic set up and it is performing well.Changed strings right away.Frets a little pokey here and there, file back.Selector switch is pretty flimsy, but functional.I had a loose wire in the pick up connector, sound cutting out intermittently, I was able to push the pin back in and its working great now.Assuming no catastrophic failures in the future, I don't see any issues for me, nice guitar for the price

Good guitar
I was surprised at how well this guitar played.Good action, everything works except the toggle switch is a little funky.Finish is not so great do to lack of paint. Transparent in spots. Can't really go wrong for the money though.

Do not buy this!
The toggle switch is not working, it's stuck. Only the pickups' volume knobs working, the other 2 are just there for nothing. Fretwires are sharp along the edge of the neck good thing I checked them first or else I cut myself. It came very dusty. I bought it because of the reviews I saw on YouTube but I guess that's not reliable for this product. It's total garbage and that's where it will go. I wish I could rate this lower than 1.

Great Guitar
I love this thing. It's nicer than my old Epiphone les paul. The neck is the classic thicker shape and feels really good in your hands. One thing I recommend doing is filing down the edges of the frets. Lightly. It doesn't take much. I literally filed mine down with a toenail clipper file and it worked perfect. The edges came out nice and smooth. Just like any guitar you should also adjust the string height and the truss rod to set up the action the way you like. I also changed the knobs because I like the color gold and removed the pick guard. Check it the pics! My new favorite guitar! Plays like a dream.
