Ordered received the collars in a timely fashion. I was excited because I just ordered a Hex bar with bumper plates to do deadlifts. These came the day I needed them, nice coincidence, things were looking up. I ordered the green color tired of the basement monster eating my clamps...sad face... They were a little hard to clamp on but I guessed that was a good thing ... you know nice and snug. Starting light with about of 140 lbs on the bar, I was on my way! Upon inspection, after my first set, I notice the clamps had slipped about 1 inch? Huh? Really?? For me, I am only using them for deadlifts I can see the bar while they are in use so it's not that dangerous, but for squatting or pressing serious weight ??? I think you need to go to a higher price point to ensure your own safety. Always keep in mind these products that the Chinese sell on Amazon have no legal remedy for American citizens. There is know way or no one to sue. Amazon is set up to be a third party so good luck with that . Hope this helps

I did and I returned them as soon as I got them.They are chunky and clunky,,,, so I went with a superior technology: Snap Clips.All it is is a magnetic strip that is super strong. You just Snap them onto the bar, the weights stay in place. Then you just unbend them off and presto, good to go.If you like a really fast way to take off your weights, check these out.Trust me, Snapclips are on a whole other level... Should be weightlifting product of the year.

I've been using these for the last week on a new Rogue powerlifting bar I bought at the same time. To date I've used the large squeeze weight retaining clamps, but when I squat enough weight to bend the bar those squeeze clamps gradually slide out. When they slide out enough, the bar becomes unbalanced which is not only super annoying, it has the potential to lead to injury to me or to bystanders if the bar became enough unbalanced that the weights were to slide off the end (that's not happened in years, but it has happened).Once these clamps are secured, they are locked down. Keep in mind they are plastic, so while they've held up great for the last week, I suspect if dropped repeatedly they might not hold up (that's a guess, not an observation), but since they're not insanely expensive, I think that's more than acceptable. I plan to pick up a few more pairs, once I get all my Xmas bills paid off. :)In any event, these are really easy to secure and to break loose, in fact I'd personally say they're easier to work with than the squeeze clamps, and I've found them to be far superior in their grip strength.

I liked them as an alternative to the weak wire springs, that came with my Olympic barbell. When I first clamped them on, I was very pleased as the collars kept the weights nice and tight against the barbell collars. Over just a couple of months, the plates are starting to rattle a bit, the collars are not holding the single 45 plates tight against the barbell collars. Probably not an issue since the rubber grips the barbell and probably won't allow the weights to slide off as long as I keep the barbell parallel to the floor. If I was pumping a lot more weight, say over 225 pounds, or in case of a dire situation wherein I had to drop the barbell to one side instead of being able to replace the barbell back onto the weight bench rests, I am not sure they would prevent the plates from sliding off.

I have used "muscle clamps" originals for years, saw these on Amazon at a ridiculously low price and in PINK....it was a no-brainer. Ordered them, received quickly, super durable, color is amazing, fits Olympic size bar and I could go on and on....I liked them so much I bought several other pairs to share with a few of my dedicated fellow gym goers and they love them! I mean really, who wants to go searching for collars in the gym and then having to squeeze the living crap out of them to get em' to open? Not me, I'm female, I'm impatient, and like the ease of these collars - no problems EVER and they are "pretty" especially when the bar is loaded up to lift like Tarzan but the collars say Jane!

I often have trouble with the wire clamps at my gym. I have smaller hands and sometimes the gym clamps are bended or loose making it difficult to secure the plates. They have a few of black ones of these at the gym which are a hot commodity so I figured I should buy my own in a pretty color. I got pink because that way no one will think I am stealing them and I love the color. I love these! They are easy to use and fit well on all the appropriate free weights I use at the gym. Recommend for yourself or a gift!

Works perfectly as described. The Hulk Green color is nice and loud as it lets people at the gym know you are serious about your lifts. Easy locking and unlocking. Gym plates do not shift and move these collars.

Needed clamps, love the green color, love the price, so I ordered a pair. Shipping was delayed. Twice. That's ok. They arrived 2 weeks after purchase. I was stoked.1st workout with the clamps:Incline press with 225. Failed on the last set, so I took off the outer plate to drop down to 185. Put the clamps back on the bar with one plate on each side, but DIDNT LOCK THEM DOWN. Picked bar up to set it back on the rack, and one of the plates slipped off, along with the clamp, and the plate smashed the clamp into the concrete. Said a few curse words, slapped on some 25's to make it 185, and finished my workout. The inner rubber on the clamp is very grippy, and the smashed clamp still held strong, even with the broken end piece. Very impressed.After the delay and the smash, I'm thinking somebody up above doesnt want me to use these clamps. But this wouldnt be the first time I've missed a divine message. Probably gonna order another pair.Buy these clamps.
