Q: Will this work with r22?

It will flash off the liquid refrigerant. However, since R22 is a single blend refrigerant, you have no need for it unless you trying to add liquid to the low side of the system. This vaporizer is for allowing a blended refrigerant to vaporize as the liquid refrigerant of a 400 series refrigerant is not blended together, but separate as a liquid.

Q: What it's the adapter that came with the vaporizer?

I don't use it, I think an adapter to a different line or hose in a different system.

Q: Did not allow to read low side pressure. Ball check valve was stuck in a passage way. Can i remove it and just use it to charge the system?
