These socks are amazing. I work as a diver and have to walk across rocks and shells underwater a lot. They do not soak through and will keep your feet protected and warm. VERY durable.

I am a women and wear a size 8 shoe. I bought the size large, though I meant to buy a size medium. I recently bought these socks because I am going on a hiking trip up to Boundary Waters and it involves canoeing and portaging, which involves walking in water. I wanted something that could cushion my feet to prevent blisters when we are hiking, and also keep my feet comfortable and dry. I had asked a question before buying to see if these were good for hiking, and the only person who answered had written a 1 star review for the socks saying they were worthless. The other reviews seemed good, so I decided to give them a try anyway. I'm so glad I did!Like I said, I ordered a size too large than I should have, but I decided to take them on a practice hike anyway. My friends and I went to a local state park and hiked for about 3 hours, covering over 4.5 miles up and down hills, and also trudging a LOT through creeks and shallow rivers. I have to say, I was really impressed by the socks. They kept my feet dry and comfortable, and I didn't develop a SINGLE blister. The day high was about 85 degrees, and the socks weren't too hot for the hike. The socks also covered my lower legs/ankles well, making it easy to walk through the brush. However, if you step in water that goes above the sock level, water WILL get in the sock, and once it's in, it can't really get out. However, my feet were still comfortable and I didn't even know there was water in the sock until our hike was over.I would recommend these socks! I am actually going to order a longer pair in the correct size, but I'm keeping these ones to give to my fiance (who is a size 12). Overall, good product!

They definitely work! They keep water off of my skin for the most part. Ive used them for over 8hrs several days a week and they prevent me from being drenched. They’re a bit thick which kind of makes it not very breathable but its not a big drawback once they get wet a little.

Great almost exactly as advertised. Your feet will eventually get wet but they do stay warm but not too warm for me. I am using these for cycling. fast shipping.

I live in Maine and during the workday spent a lot of time walking through the snow in the winter time. I really want to try to find an alternative to having to wear snow boots cause by the end of the day I’m exhausted. I’m a crocs girl so used to light footwear. I thought I’d give these a try without much expectation. When I received the socks and opened them, I was like oh these are not going to be comfortable. I was wrong. These are super comfortable. Keep my feet dry and warm while wearing my lined crocs. I was so happy with them I bought a second pair and will be buying more. Fit is true to size. I wear a women’s size 8 shoe and bought a medium.

Wore these hiking with my trail runners, assuming they would keep my feet dry with wet shoes. NOPE, feet soaking wet and cold. Now they say it must have been sweat, but it was about 50 degrees out and my feet were wet within about 30 minute of the start of the hike. I have never had wet socks wearing wool in dry hot weather, but I have had wet wool socks when I hike in wet areas in my trail runners (as would be expected). These just don't work. Both myself and my son wore these and both of us had the same issue, so 0 out of 2 worked. Sending them back, going to just wear wool socks, accept the we feet, but at least my feet won't get cold like they did with these.

i am currently on step 211,189 over 2 pairs of these socks in 2 weeks thru the rainy rainforest of hawaii and the light rain in tokyo and now the blistering heat in osaka. my feet have been 100% dry and no blisters whatsoever. coupled with adidas terrex trail shoes, this was a winning combination. an added bonus is that they are light and also pack down to almost nothing. A+
