needs a cable
This runs off batteries, but it really needs a redesign to use less power or to be plugged in. We were having to replace the batteries every 8 hours of use. Amazon customer service was useless to help with the battery issue and even asked if I tried plugging this in to a different socket to make sure it wasn't my electricity.... We returned this and will look for a better quality product for next year.

This is a very thin garland. Does not look as nice as the picture. The baubles kept falling off. I was disappointed so returned it
