Does what it's supposed to
Life was good until the person next to my apartment got DirecTV. I ended up on their network and started sharing their DVR material, which I did not want to see. Added this simple and cheap band stop filter and my receiver is now isolated. There should be a filter in every apartment but it was easier to quickly solve the problem myself.

Exactly what we needed. We live in a condo with a DirecTV MDU installation and we were able to see everyone else's listing of recordings as well as watch them. We put this in line before the receivers and we no longer have to be bothered with everyone elses viewing choices.

Stop Whole-Home DVR
This works perfectly if you have a receiver in your house that you want to get off your Whole-Home DVR setup. Place this behind the receiver you want off the service and it will be completely isolated.
