Works great
I got this to help with my shoulder surgery and to have support while showering. The strap across the shoulder is very nicely padded and is better than the sling they sent me home with. Definitely worth the investment!

Surprisingly soft
For the cheap price I truly wasn’t expecting much other than a very basic sling. I am pleasantly surprised by the soft, long pad for the neck strap. This sling is also easy to adjust and stays put. The strap is excessively long but is easy to fold and place under the velco neck pad to keep out of the way. Very glad to have bought this sling!

Strap is very long
I'm a petite woman so the strap is super long but when adjusted it works well for using to shower while you need to keep your arm immobilized. The padding in the shoulder is also nice and soft and does not cause irritation.

breathable soft but may be small on some
frustrated to the point of panic with the sling my dr gave me -it was a non breathable sweaty heavy nylon material, wrap around torso that was impossible to sleep in but provided complete immobilzation! I ordered this one for my broken left humerus in week 4 of my recovery and as happy as possible given the situation.1-it was cheap, 2- breathable soft mesh with a buckle closure/adjuster and soft cushy removable neck pad -mucheasier to use than simple velcro adjustment. It also has a wrist support and elastic thumb support: all pluses for me. I can sleep in it but my arm does move so not good for recent break-prob ok for sprains etccaveat: This is somewhat petite &(good for me 5'3" with forearm length of 12-13 inches). If your forearm is longer your hand will flop out with no support at all.. Also I am using this in the 4th 5th 6th weeks of recovery-it may not supply enough immobilization for a more recent break and you would be better off with a more heavy duty sling that has double wrap around torso support. In my frustration I also ordered 3 other slings that were canvas or mesh some more expensive but sent them back unopened as this was serviceable enough at this point for me. good luck.

Shower sling -wonderful!
If only I were made aware of this for my first two shoulder surgeriesShowering with this sling, made it so easy and safe right after surgery and during recovery the weeks followingOnce cleared to return to the gym for modified exerciseI used this sling so my arm wouldn’t get overheated and sweaty as it would in the regular hefty post op sling the surgeon provided. Highly recommend!

Rotator Cuff Surgery?
This sure came in handy when I had RC surgery and needed to shower, but needed support for my arm. The mesh let water run through and the whole thing dried quickly. I also used it occasionally during the HOT summer months. One tip- spray something like “scotchguard” on the padded neck part so it won’t absorb as much shower water & get soiled from sweat, etc., and will stay cleaner, longer!

I used this mesh sling in the pool
With a fractured shoulder and a broken arm, this mesh sling gave me the courage to go in the pool on a few hot days and it worked great!

Not sweaty!
My daughter was in a full arm cast and VERY HOT this summer. The full-fabric slings just made it worse. This mesh sling was exactly what she needed. It was light weight and comfortable. The neck strap has a well-padded wrap that you can slide exactly into the right position. And, it's washable - held up great in the washer and dryer. It was made for a larger person than my child, so we took the extra shoulder strap and had to double it back a few times, under the velcro pad, but it was fine. Made her summer a lot easier!
