I ditched my coffee maker due to inability to keep it well cleaned and worried about mold-this is a GREAT WAY to make good coffee! I only wish I could make more than one cup at a time. The stainless steel quality is awesome though and it’s so easy to use! I use it most days of the week and love that it is also eco friendly!

I purchased the two-part filter, where the filter can be lifted out from the base.I prefer this type due to the large openings that permit the coffee to go directly into my cup without the puddling that occurs with some all-in-one units may have.The unit appears to be very well made and sturdy. It's also easy to wash and the size is perfect to use over mugs.Once I'm done, I simply rinse the filter with hot water and a bit Dawn detergent, rinse and then dry it with a soft cloth. My filter looks shiny and new each time and I don't have any issues with flow. The filter is fine enough to allow the coffee to "blossom."I've heard some claiming that there is a "defect" because there's "no hole" at the bottom. Some have even gone through great lengths explaining "why" they thought it was defective, and then returned their purchase without even giving it a try. Had they given it a try, it would have been immediately obvious that there was no issue.If one examines the filter, it's finely perforated throughout the sides and the end cap is relatively short and narrow. I've been using this filter every day and my coffee pours through perfectly.In fact, I get a wonderful cup of coffee every single time with no sediment or off-taste. This is a GREAT filter, and I highly recommend getting this if you're "on the fence" about getting one.

I have used this pour over filter on a daily basis since purchasing it and it works very well. I grind my own beans, and for me a medium setting on the grinder works well for a good flavorful cup with very little sediment. I have also used fine pre ground coffee with a small (#2 ) paper filter and that worked as well, without slowing the brew time down much at all. So, overall, I'm happy with the purchase as it's easy to use and clean.

I love this product and am on my second of these easy-to use and convenient filters; they last about a year (coffee oils and micro-granules eventually make them dirty).

Pour over coffee is my preferred choice.I’ve tried four others; ceramic and stainless steel construction. All got the job done but this one is superior. My cup of coffee is great every time; absolutely no sediment! I use a stainless steel carafe seated on a mug warmer when making my pour over coffee.Like how this pour over sits completely up off the carafe or cup AND you can see how full your receptacle is while it’s pouring. I use a gooseneck teapot and find the speed of extraction perfect.A filter is not necessary but I use one anyway.I believe them when they say clogging is not a problem, it’s just personal preference.This is a great pour over system.Highly recommended!

Pros:- No paper filters needed- No plastic toxins- Easy to clean- Great tasting coffeeCons:- DurabilityWithin 2 months the wire frame that holds the cone snapped off the metal base. I glued it with heavy duty metal glue which worked for about 2 weeks.It still works, but since it broke there have been a lot more spills due to having to balance the whole system.Also the rubber came off and is a bit challenging to put on.
