Sweet, Smooth, Bliss
The media could not be loaded. I normally purchase from Tealyra's website, but got my last batch here from Amazon and happy to say the quality is the same!OVERALL RATING: 9/10TEA LEAVES: 8/10Any green oolong lover is well aware of the spongy, springyness, of the rolled leaves as they expand while steeping. This is one of my favorite experiences of brewing both rock and green oolong leaves. Although this batch has a few stems, not all leaves are whole, but you still get the thrill of seeing your gaiwan fill with leaves as you continue to pour.AROMA: 10/10This particular leaf is a nice welcome of spring dew and sweet flowers. (Oolong is after all referred to as the "perfume tea") Helpful hint, the dry leaf aroma is a strong indication of storage and production practice. If you want to get a better idea of what you will TASTE, you must perform a quick rinse of your leaves before steeping your drink. Wet leaves will tell you what notes you will likely taste and for some teas the aroma differences between dry and and rinsed leaves are completely different worlds. I get a nice sweet grass and honeydew smell after rinsing.LIQUOR & FLAVOR: 10/10Crisp, smooth and light. Not thick at all (unless you use more leaf) but more to offer than a typical green tea. Clear liquor that is very bright and light in color. I recommend not brewing over 190F so you don't over scorch the leaves. Lower water temps around 180-85F will bring you more floral notes.PRICE: 9/10For the quality of the tea leaves, this is a good deal. As for the quantity, I wish they offered more! Maybe it's because this is a rolled tea. Or because it is one of my favorite basic tea batches I try to conserve for a good period of time. Tealyra also offers this tea blended with rose petals I highly recommend!

nice light flavor
Great tea, light flavor, sort of like a blend of green and black, with light herbal notes on a black tea background.

Horrible taste.
Love Teas but this tasted like moldy dirt. What a waste of money.

Flavorful oolong tea with a nice uplift
Very nice tea. The first brew is strong but the flavor and essence really develops over subsequent brews. Very nice clear headed and uplifting.

First time trying this brand's Formosa Oolong
This Oolong was too green and under roasted. Have used other Formosa Oolongs that were much less green. This was my first try at Tealyra, and Oolong is not one I'd purchase again as I like a darker, more robust and less green brew. It's a matter of taste.

Delicious
This is some of the best tea I've had. I usually find green tea to be too light, but don't always want black. This is a nice in-between. I Use the recommended amount on the bag, but allow it to steep for 3-4 minutes. If I had to find one thing to complain about, it'd be the price. This is by no means the most expensive stuff available, but it's not cheap either.
