This is a pretty good spool gun that I am using for the Miller 211. The motor was wired backwards which caused the spool gears to go backwards. Super easy to fix, take off the three screws and simply switch the wires connected to the electric motor. There are only two wires coming out of the big electric motor on the bottom. For the .030 wire the flat spool gears seem to grab the wire without any issue. Just dial the wire speed on the welder, adjust the voltage and you should be good. Hope this helps somebody else. Glad I bought this!

DOES NOT FIT MillerMatic180. I made it fit by using the end of my old guns cable. I had to rewire the plug as well. But overall, it is perfect replacement for the original Miller spool gun and 1/4 of the price.

So to start off it’s a $100.00 spoolgun so my expectation were not high. Drive motor had to be rewired which understandably they tell you in the manual. Was an easy fix, the brass end that plugs into the drive motor on the other hand was to big and did not fit. Had to machine it down about 0.020” to make it fit. The drive rolls are smooth not knurled like on the normal spoolmates. This leads to feeding issues and inconsistencies. Ended up hooking up my old spoolmate 100 to get the job done and even broken out preformed this one.
