Plenty strong for my 85lb ebike. BUT...
I had to offset by 1 inch left and drill another hole in the aluminum mounting plate of my frame for this stand to fit past my 4 inch tires when in the up position. This had only a small affect in that the bike slightly off center when up on the stand but clearing nicely when the stand is retracted. To reiterate, centerline hole did not work and I was bummed. This stand however really looked right to me, plenty sturdy, by far the best design I've seen, and I did not want give up. I did some grade school math and realized the offset would still keep the stand and bike up just fine and indeed that's how it turned out. I drilled a new mounting hole and, wow, it really works well. It's still a fairly top heavy load so care must be taken in using the stand but it stands my bike up just fine. I take care to pick the bike up by it's rear rack both when seating on the stand and when flipping it up. I also take care to not abuse it by sitting on it while on the stand. It already has enough to hold up. I am very happy with this kickstand. It operates well when off weighted and appears to be more robust around the axle than any other cast stand I've bought. And I've bought more than three. So yes, it is a fine wye stand. It snaps up and down without complaint. It balances my long tall and heavy ebike (although it is out on the last adjustment for leg length) well. Oh, and put some lube on it, it really needed it out of the box.

Solid, stable, well-built!
So far I’m really pleased with this stand! It didn’t come with installation instructions, but it was very straight-forward to figure it out. The mounting hardware is simple and clamps to the bike frame with a heavy duty plate, which is great because my bike doesn’t have a mounting plate for a kickstand. The height adjustment is really simple. There are screws which fit into a series of holes, easily adjusted with the proper size hex key. For maximum stabilization, I adjusted the legs of the stand so the rear wheel is slightly off the ground when the kickstand is engaged. It feels really stable and solid. With a slight lift of the bike it’s easy to kick the legs of the stand up. I love that they both up to one side so they don’t interfere with the chain.I have a mountain bike with disc brakes and I had no compatibility issues with this stand. It seems really well built and very solid and stable. I’m really glad I purchased it!

Solid Quality
I like this kickstand. It's incredibly sturdy and the production quality is good. I've been using it on my bike for over a year. It cured two problems I was having on my bike originally equipped with a single leg kickstand. First, it made the front rack level for loading. This makes it much easier to attach my bags and carriers to the front rack. Second, once the front rack is loaded this type of kickstand eliminates the tendency of my loaded bike to fall over when parked. It now stays upright with bags loaded. There is only one negative to the stand; the weight. It, of course, has two legs so it's going to be heavier than a normal kickstand, but it weighed a bit more than I anticipated. Given that I carry my bike up a flight of stairs occasionally, I notice it. However, it's not a deal breaker. Overall, it's a great kickstand and I recommend it. Just remember to use Loctite on the threads when you attach it to the bike. This way it will stay in place through hard usage.

Ok, Ok .... so I was WRONG about "NEVER putting a kickstand on a REAL mountain bike" ...
Great Product. And this is coming from a guy who swore he'd NEVER put a kickstand on a mountain bike. Started my riding about +25 yrs. ago with many up-and-coming world class mt. bike racers, up in Colorado. Back then, when purchasing my first mt. bike, I asked, "Where's the kickstand?" After the sales staff stopped crying from laughter, they explained, "Real mountain bikes don't/won't have a KICKSTAND ! "Fast forward to now, and things are different. There weren't kickstands (back then) that were this FUNCTIONAL and also had a cool look to it. I installed mine in 5 minutes, and it could have been faster, but MY bike frame access slowed me down. It adjusts in length easily, as the designer put both adjustment screws (one on each leg), facing the same side, which makes it quicker to adjust BOTH legs. It folds up nicely when retracted, and has a nice look to it, rather than having a cheesy, box-store kickstand look.As others have mentioned, it makes it easier to service your rear wheel and gears, if you adjust the legs to where it elevates the back wheel an inch or two off the ground, when the kickstand is down. I will also echo that it isn't necessary to buy one of the look-alike versions of this kickstand that you see selling for around $ 33 - $45, and some also around $75. I researched them, and watched videos on most. As others have mentioned, this might not be a kickstand for hard-core, thrasher mt. bikers. But for the majority of the rest of us, this would be a nice option to consider. The kickstand is well made, looks durable, easy to install, and I don't see any (good) reason why a person would spend 2x - 4x the cost of this one, for basically the same caliber of kickstand. I HIGHLY recommend this, and can't believe I'd EVER write a review propping a kickstand on a mountain bike. Maybe as we grow older, our sense of being FUNCTIONAL starts to outweigh our vanity ? Lol.
