Such a beautiful piece for aquarium
Edit: Cannot recommend for aquarium use!!. I soaked and boiled this for several days, hardly any tannins left so I put it in the aquarium, looked beautiful but the water started foaming, fish were not happy and one death. . I quickly removed from aquarium and did a water change. Hoping the rest of fish will be ok.I was nervous to see what I would get. I love this piece. Just what I hoped for. I’m ordering more of this for future use in the aquarium. The second piece is just as beautiful as the first. I do not understand the negative reviews, try finding Manzanita wood for the aquarium, it’s not easy. If not using for an aquarium try something else because this wood is very desirable for aquariums, it doesn’t leach like mopani wood does and sinks well after soaking for a short time.

Served it’s purpose
My only complaint is that a few small pieces of the wood broke off during shipping. I believe each piece is different so you don’t know what you’re going to get until it arrives but it’s a beautiful piece of wood and worked really well with my vision. The wood is clean and unique.

Not happy
I bought this because I thought it would look great in my fish tank but when I open the box it was nothing what I wanted and looked completely different then the pictures in the pictures it was a very branchy piece but the one I got only had 3 branches and still won’t stay under the water even after having weights on it for almost 2 weeks! It’s very a ugly branch and no where did I see that the ad said branches may very in size or shape! False advertising in my opinion as I didn’t get what I thought i was getting

Arrived intact, great color and shape
My driftwood arrived in good condition, with a few small bits in the box that must have come off on transit (centimeter size, nothing major). I love the two tone quality of the piece I got! And it's perfect for the intended use, which was the jewelry hanger that I made. It looks great and I would recommend to anyone looking for an interesting piece.

Real driftwood but not quite as advertised
I ordered two branches to make a natural sea shell and driftwood mobile. On the pluscside, what I received is natural wood that looks sunbleached as though it came off a beach. On the minus side, the pieces are branchier than the wood sample pictured, which made them less well suited for my mobile. I think it's unreasonable to expect natural wood pieces to be like the pictured sample, so I'm not really complaining about the shapes. However, the size was significantly larger than the 12 inches advertised, closer to 20 - 22 inches. With so much branching, cutting them down would have resulted in very strange looking pieces. It'seems not worth returning such inexpensive items, so I figured out a way to make them do, but the results aren't what I was hoping for.Bottom line is the buyer needs to have flexible needs or don't buy. It would also be better for the seller to advertise that pieces range from approximately length x to y so the buyer knows the amount of variability to expect.

Wood & Fishtanks
The media could not be loaded. If you are getting something for your fish tank I would recommend getting two pieces. One isn’t enough to make an aquascape interesting. On one of the pieces some of the roots were a little wobbly. Not a big deal just had to be careful with it.I had to weigh down the branches for 2 weeks before they sank. Yours could be more or less.I recommend you place the wood in a separate container for the first 2 days because the water will turn brown (stain the water) during the sinking process. With any new wood that you place in a tank it will grow a white algae/fungus film on the wood. This is normal and will not hurt the tank or fish. It will go away eventually. If you are starting a new fish tank buy the wood first and make sure it sinks after that drain the water (leave 10%) add substrate/rocks and plants and fill back up with water. Add fish 2 weeks later making sure all the plants take root. The whole process took 1 month
